Megan Kane didn't mind waiting, so she just nodded. 'The bond between best friends needs no words,' she thought. 'I'm sure everything will turn out wonderfully.'
Besides, there was truly nothing more to say about the matter at hand. Continuing the discussion would be pointless.
It was better to just calm down and see how things would ultimately be resolved.
"I think you're right about the current situation," she said. "There's no need to overthink it anymore. Overthinking it won't lead to a better outcome."
"Besides, once this is resolved, that will be the best-case scenario. There's really no need to dwell on it."
"Tomorrow, just call him and say you're going back. That's all. Otherwise, if you keep thinking about it, you'll just make things more awkward."
Jason Forrester felt there was no need to overthink going home. She should just say it. It wasn't something that needed to be kept secret.
