"Ms. Wynne, are you here to see Silas?"
Silas's soft little body snuggled into Olivia Wynne's arms, and her heart instantly melted.
"I came to discuss some things," Olivia Wynne said. Seeing Silas's face fall instantly, she added, "Of course, I wanted to see Silas, too."
'What an adorable child. His big eyes were as pure and beautiful as the ocean, his cheeks so fair and tender they looked impossibly soft.'
She slowly raised a slender hand and placed it gently on Silas's face, caressing it a few times.
"Did you come over by yourself, Silas?"
Little Silas immediately shook his head. "I came with my mom, but she's in a meeting. Ms. Linden said you were here, so I came over."
"And did you tell your mom you were coming to see me?"
"I did. Ms. Linden called my mom for me, and she said it was okay. Mom also said she'll come over after her meeting."
Silas explained sweetly, tilting his head up to look at Olivia Wynne. "Don't you want me to come see you, Ms. Wynne?"
