The woman beside Jasper Shaw let her gaze wander over Zachary Fairchild and Olivia Wynne before asking softly, "Are you the ones who won the grand prize?"
The woman spoke in a soft, gentle voice and carried herself with a quiet grace, but her eyes seemed to hold a faint sorrow.
From the look in her eyes, Olivia sensed she was a woman with a story.
Her faintly sorrowful gaze made Olivia's chest feel tight. She looked away slightly and murmured, "Yes."
