The moment they emerged from the woods and stepped onto the trail, the stout woman knew something was wrong. She shoved Olivia Wynne forcefully, trying to escape.
Through her hazy vision, Olivia Wynne had already spotted the car parked by the roadside. At this point, there was no way she would let the stout woman get away, so she kicked her squarely in the stomach.
This was the scene Zachary Fairchild and his men saw when they got out of the car.
The corner of Zachary Fairchild's mouth twitched slightly, but a smile played on his lips.
The police officer who had come with Zachary Fairchild stared, dumbfounded for a moment, before turning to look at him.
"Minister Fairchild, which one is the person we're here to rescue?"
"The beautiful one."
Zachary Fairchild said this in a low voice and, without sparing the officer another glance, strode quickly toward Olivia Wynne.
"Are you all right?" the man asked in a low voice, standing in front of Olivia Wynne.
