Olivia Wynne only went home with Zachary Fairchild after he received a call confirming that the other five men had also been arrested.
They didn't speak a word the entire way, but the atmosphere in the car wasn't cold. Olivia kept sneaking glances at Zachary from the corner of her eye.
'She was still thinking about what William Wynne had said.'
After they got home, Olivia changed into her slippers and turned to Zachary. "Thank you for what you did today."
If it weren't for Zachary, she might have made it back safely, but she definitely wouldn't have been able to have those men caught.
She was the type to hold a grudge. There was no way she'd just stand there and let someone bully her without fighting back.
"It's what I should do."
Zachary's voice was low and carried a feeling of deep sincerity.
That was exactly what he thought. 'Saving her was his responsibility.'
