The man's voice was deep and magnetic. Olivia's heart stirred. Averting her gaze, she said quietly, "If you don't think it's a bother, then you can pick me up."
Having someone pick her up from work was definitely a good thing. It would save her a lot of trouble, and taking a taxi was never as convenient as having her own car.
At the thought of "her own car," Olivia's expression stiffened slightly.
'When did I start thinking of Zachary Fairchild's things as my own?'
Zachary Fairchild was sitting right beside Olivia, so he naturally noticed her body stiffen for a moment. Thinking she didn't want him to pick her up, his eyes darkened and his voice grew a little cold. "It's dangerous for you to get off work alone."
"Right now, your filming schedule is mostly during the day, which is fine. But in the future, you might have to work overtime at night. It'll be even more dangerous if you come home late, so I'll pick you up."
