Zachary Fairchild frowned. "What happened?"
"I called him at three o'clock, just as you instructed, and told him to pick up your car from the apartment. But I just received a call. He was in a car accident, and he's in the emergency room right now."
Without a second thought, Zachary Fairchild stood and strode forward. "Which hospital?"
"The Emergency Center."
With that, Liam Lanier hurried out with Zachary Fairchild.
Outside an operating room at the Emergency Center, Zachary Fairchild stood in the hallway, his expression grim. The hospital director, who had rushed over when he heard the news, remained by his side.
"Vice Minister, please rest assured. Our hospital's best specialists are on the case. They will definitely save him."
Zachary Fairchild gave a quiet "mm" of acknowledgment, his gaze remaining fixed on the door to the operating room.
Zachary Fairchild clearly wasn't in the mood to talk. Taking the hint, the director stood aside and didn't disturb him further.
