Early in the morning, when Olivia Wynne woke up, Zachary Fairchild was already up, just like usual.
The sheets on his side of the bed were a little messy, a clear sign that someone had slept there.
Olivia herself was a quiet sleeper; her side of the bed was usually still neat when she woke up. It was rare to see the other side looking rumpled, and the feeling it gave her was surprisingly pleasant.
'It was as if, after living alone for so long, someone had suddenly entered her world. She no longer had to face everything by herself.'
A warmth filled her heart.
Olivia didn't stay in the room for long. After washing up, she headed out, and the moment she stepped through the door, she caught a fragrant aroma wafting from the kitchen.
As a foodie, Olivia had a keen sense for all things edible. This aroma was incredibly fragrant and tempting, and she didn't think she had ever encountered it before.
Her pace quickened as she headed straight for the kitchen.
