In the softly decorated bedroom, Olivia emerged from the bathroom, fresh from her shower and humming a tune. She had only taken two steps forward when she froze in shock.
"Zachary, what are you doing here?"
Her eyes widened as she stared in shock at the man who had suddenly appeared.
"The door was unlocked, so I came in."
As Zachary spoke, he even gestured matter-of-factly toward the door.
Olivia: "..."
"I know the door wasn't locked. I meant, why did you come in without a word? Did you need something?"
Zachary calmly placed his phone on the nightstand, his eyes turning serious as he looked at Olivia.
"Nothing."
"If there's nothing, then you can leave. I'm going to bed," Olivia said, trying to get him to go.
Would Zachary leave? Of course not.
The man calmly sat on the edge of the bed, his deep baritone magnetic and alluring.
"It's late. It really is time for bed."
