Chapter 132: Genos Was Careless Again (Part 2)

"Ohohoho!"

Just as Genos and Saitama were having a 'frank and open' exchange, Mosquito Girl's sharp laughter suddenly echoed in the sky.

"Hm?"

Genos and Saitama simultaneously looked up at Mosquito Girl.

At this moment, Mosquito Girl had undergone a great change. Her severed leg had regrown and was even stronger. Her skin, perhaps from absorbing too much blood, had changed from its original black and white to a demonic red. She even possessed a head of pink curly hair, becoming even more alluring and seductive.

"Me, stupid? Haha, I sent my children for you to burn because I... don't need them anymore! Idiot!"

Mosquito Girl raised her sharp claws and slashed fiercely at the high-rise building beside her. The building was immediately cut in half at the waist, collapsing like a neatly sliced radish and stirring up a cloud of dust. "After all, I'm already... so strong! Those children have completed their mission. It doesn't matter whether they live or die! Heh!"

"Hmm..."

Genos looked at the evolved Mosquito Girl in slight shock. The difference in strength before and after was so great. Before she evolved, they were evenly matched, but now, her power was even greater. Can I win?

*It seems I still need to become stronger!*

Mosquito Girl revealed a smug and confident smile. "Alright, little brother, prepare for hell!" The moment she spoke, her entire crimson body disappeared from Genos's vision.

"So fast!"

Genos's heart skipped a beat. Before his mechanical body could react, Mosquito Girl had already appeared behind him as if teleporting. The corners of her mouth curled into a cruel smile as she raised her sharp claws and slashed down. A sharp cracking sound rang out.

Genos's body was almost split in two in an instant, and electric arcs crackled from the severed area at his waist.

"She's gotten stronger!"

His pupils contracted. Fortunately for him, a cyborg, this wound that would be fatal to a human was ineffective. Without a second thought, he raised his right fist and threw a fierce punch behind him.

However, to the current Mosquito Girl, his attack was nothing more than child's play.

Mosquito Girl smirked mockingly. With a flick of her claws, she slammed them into Genos's chin with a bang.

Whoosh!

Genos was uncontrollably blasted into the sky.

"Hahaha!"

Mosquito Girl laughed loudly as she shot into the sky. She moved so fast that she left a red streak behind her. In the blink of an eye, she was at Genos's side, her sharp claws constantly carving wounds into him, but she never dealt a fatal blow. She toyed with him like a cat playing with a mouse, letting out cruel and gleeful laughter all the while.

While Genos was caught in a bitter struggle, not far behind Saitama, King was sneaking around... ah, bah, he appeared openly and aboveboard. Watching the fierce battle, he immediately took a camera out of his backpack, turned it on, aimed it at the completely naked Saitama, adjusted the focus, and started recording.

"Hmm, I never expected Saitama's body to be so unremarkable. It's hard to imagine that such a 'frail' body hides such overwhelming power."

He admired Saitama's figure through the camera lens. "Oh, a shocking discovery! Saitama is not only bald on top, but on the bottom too. Wait, no, maybe Saitama is a natural-born 'little white dragon'—all pink and tender."

"Such a powerless punch... can't even kill a mosquito, you know."

In the sky, Mosquito Girl's mocking taunts echoed continuously.

"Crack, crack, crack!"

Like a toy, Genos tumbled and fell at Mosquito Girl's mercy.

Crack!

Mosquito Girl slashed Genos's body again. By now, his mechanical body was battered and broken, riddled with holes, and had lost all ability to move.

"You really can't take a beating..." Mosquito Girl looked at Genos, who had lost the ability to resist, and pursed her lips. He was a weak little toy, and she was tired of playing. In that case... time to kill him!

As he fell, Genos looked at Mosquito Girl raising her sharp claws high, and a flicker of understanding flashed in his eyes. "So that's how it is... I understand now. The more blood she absorbs, the faster her body's functions evolve..."

"Idiot, this next move will chop off your head!"

Mosquito Girl watched the rapidly falling Genos, smiled cruelly, and dove down with her sharp claws raised, chasing after the helpless cyborg.

"To only realize the key to the battle now... I was too careless. Now... there's no chance of winning."

Genos's gaze dimmed. His mechanical body had lost its ability to fight. This battle... he had lost. The price... was his life!

"The only thing I can do now... is self-destruct."

He would rather perish with her than be captured!

It's just...

"I'm sorry, Dr. Kuseno. Genos... has to leave you." The power reactor inside his body suddenly flared with a brilliant blue light as immense energy vibrated violently.

"Ohohoho!"

Mosquito Girl's cruel, smiling face grew larger in Genos's pupils. Her sharp claws swept down with a sound that tore through the air. He had nowhere to escape...

*It's all over. In the end, I was just too weak!*

Bang!

Just at this critical moment, a palm from out of nowhere suddenly appeared in his vision and struck Mosquito Girl across the face. The incomparably powerful monster's cruel laughter stopped abruptly. Her delicate body spun as it shot into the sky, slamming hard into a nearby high-rise building. It left behind a large splash of blood, and the rest of her remains vanished into the vast sky, leaving only a faint, demonic red star.

"Ha..."

Genos's eyes widened as he stared at the scene in shock. *Holy crap, that was insane!*

Saitama, seeing he had finally swatted the mosquito, showed a satisfied smile. "Mosquitoes are so annoying. Now the world is clean."

Crack!

Genos crashed to the ground. He stared in shock at the "ordinary person," Saitama, finding it hard to believe that the slap that had obliterated Mosquito Girl came from him.

Then, he remembered King, whom he had met before. He had the same unremarkable appearance and the same plain demeanor, seemingly like any ordinary person. Yet, beneath that ordinary body was hidden enormous power.

"Please wait a moment."

Seeing Saitama about to leave, he shouted anxiously.

"Oh?"

Saitama stopped in confusion and looked at the paralyzed Genos.

"Please tell me your name!"

Saitama said casually, "Oh, I'm Saitama."

Genos stared intently at Saitama, gritting his teeth. "Please accept me as your disciple!" *I'm still too weak. How can I get revenge when I'm this weak? I have to become as strong as him!*

"Hm."

Saitama nodded absently and turned to leave. Then, it suddenly clicked. He turned back to look at Genos again. *This guy wants to be my disciple? Damn it, is he trying to trick me? In a normal conversation between strangers, after I introduce myself, shouldn't you introduce yourself? You just skipped that and jumped straight to asking to be my disciple!*

*City folks are too crafty. I'm going back to the Ghost Town to fight monsters!*

While Saitama was feeling down, King was equally depressed. Watching Mosquito Girl get slapped away was like seeing a three-star monster card fly off. For him, who was short on cards, the pain was unbearable!

*That's it, Saitama, our friendship is over!*

King also saw Saitama leaving. He didn't go up to say hello; it was simply too awkward. The other guy was completely naked, while he was carrying a camera. He was afraid that if Saitama found out the truth, he would get hit with a serious punch and be instantly KO'd.

He carefully put the camera away, put on his backpack, and quickly left the ruined battlefield.
