"V-Victor, have you seen it!? The fifth mission is gone! We're free to do whatever we want!"
Kael happily hopped around in front of Victor.
Victor chuckled softly.
"I know. They're also allowing us to recruit other players. Call the others and recruit those who've lost their groups. But remember—only recruit those who don't have a traitor's mark on their foreheads. Got it?"
"Got it!" Kael replied enthusiastically.
Victor waved his hand, and Kael immediately set off to carry out his orders.
As he watched Kael's figure slowly disappear from view, Victor smiled faintly.
He looked up at the sky and muttered, "What exactly are those gods planning? Why would they go so far as to cancel the fifth mission? Just because there aren't enough players left?"
Beings of the gods' caliber couldn't possibly be so narrow-minded. Victor was sure there had to be a reason, but he couldn't figure it out.
"Well, whatever."
He shrugged indifferently.
