"J-Jealous!?"
Rose was stunned by his words.
She quickly smiled and waved it off.
"How could I be? Me? Jealous? You're reading too much into it. I just don't want you getting charmed by that woman and messing up our team in the next mission."
Her words sounded confident and a little arrogant, but Raven could still sense the embarrassment behind them.
He simply smiled without saying a word.
Seeing her reaction, Claire breathed a sigh of relief. She had been worried that Rose might actually have feelings for Raven. Fortunately, that didn't seem to be the case.
"You don't need to worry. Reyna and I are just friends. She's helping me keep an eye on the other team. In other words, she's my spy," Raven explained casually.
Rose was still a little suspicious of his explanation, but she couldn't find any sign that he was lying.
