POV Thanos
I crush the skull of the Xenomorph that managed to get past the rest of the machines, and I throw the corpse away. The damn pests had been pouring in at random from portals. At first they were dealt with quickly by the Automatons, but as always, those damn pests started to adapt, and slowly but surely I was losing my Automatons, which were my last hope for universal balance. What truly infuriated me was that the damn AI was back.
"Hey! How... Wow, these pretzels suck... So how has your day been, buddy? We haven't really talked much since I left you for dead. Hey, do you think you'll die all alone on this planet, and nobody will remember you? Nah, probably not; the Xenomorphs will get you first. My day? It's been pretty good, just bought a Pony made of Diamonds. Heh. Because I'm rich. So you know, that's cool. Kay bye!" the AI says while making it sound like they are eating the entire time.
'I'm gonna torch whatever planet made him.'
I try not to let that damn voice get to me, but it was the greatest test of my patience I had ever faced. But I had more pressing matters than some pest that I couldn't deal with right away.
Another Portal opens, and another horde of Xenomorphs rushes through.
"Sigh. Pests," I say while grabbing a metal sword I had forged and running at the enemies.
Minor Time Skip...
Splat
I pulverize the Xenomorph and have to discard my sword as it had melted due to all the acid blood. That was the biggest issue I was dealing with. The Automatons weren't just being destroyed; they were being melted to the point of uselessness.
"I'm rackin' my brain trying to think of a name for that Diamond Pony I bought. I was gonna call it Piss-for-brains in honor of you, but that just feels immature. Maybe... Buttstallion? Nah, that's even worse. Tell you what, I'll give it some more thought while you deal with more guests," the AI says as another portal opens, this one being much larger and bringing warriors instead of drones.
'I hate that AI.'
Minor Time Skip...
I take a seat to take what rest I can, as I had finally dealt with the last Warrior. I wasn't really tired, but I had no idea how long this could last, so it was better to take what breaks I could while I got the time.
"I should probably clarify: the Diamond Pony I've been telling you about? It's not a sculpture or anything. It's a living Pony that actually happens to be made of... Actually, I'll just go get her. Butt Stallion! Whistle. Here girl. Butt Stallion! Say hello," the AI says.
"Neigh," Butt Stallion says.
"Butt Stallion says hello," the AI says before shutting up again.
'Wait, is this an AI?'
A part of me wondered if it really was an AI. When I escaped the trap on Pandora, I only found a strange digital construct that shared that voice. They were quite odd-looking, so I assumed it was just a digital construct of an AI. But if it was an AI, they were too... Real. They had far too much personality.
As I was lost in thought, a massive portal opened, and this time what walked through required me to pay more attention. These Xenomorphs were of a variety I had never seen before; they were giants compared to the drone or warrior caste and were covered in heavy chitinous armor. I chose not to fight them first and let the Dwarven Colossi deal with them. I didn't have many of them, but they were highly capable. Even though they were shorter than the Xenomorphs that came through the portal.
The Colossi charged up their cannons and fired at the Xenomorphs, but as the smoke cleared, the Xenomorphs looked unharmed.
'Well, this won't be easy.'
POV Shift Rio
Crunch
I eat another handful of Popcorn as I watch Thanos continue to struggle pointlessly to hold onto the Dwarven Planet. I wasn't fully sure why or how this planet came to be, but I suppose I could figure that out later once Thanos ran out of Dwemer machines. Could I have fought Thanos without this extra work? Sure. But I wasn't going to underestimate Thanos even if I had a massive advantage. The Dwemer were known to make some crazy stuff, and the use of the goddamn Numidium was proof enough of that. I just hope there wasn't a Heart of Lorkhan hidden there, as that would be a mess to deal with.
My current strategy was simple. I tracked down the Xenomporphs and used them as shock troops. Or at least that was the plan until I discovered that they have a Hive Empress, or I guess the True Ruler and progenitor of the Xenomorphs in this Universe. So I made a deal, if you want to call it that. She wanted to mate with me, as I was something that should be impossible: a Xenomorph that isn't one of her kin and is completely separate from the Hive Mind. They wouldn't care if I was from another universe or even the fact that I am a male, as male Xenomorphs exist; they are just rare. No, it was the System that made me so unique in her eyes, even if she didn't realize it.
Of course, I had no intention of fulfilling my end of the bargain, as she didn't even think of me not fulfilling my end, as we are both Xenomorphs after all. No, I intend to waste all her troops fighting Thanos, then kill both of them and rid this universe of those threats. It was quite the perfect plan. It also helped that I wasn't 100% confident I could beat Thanos. The Dwarves of Nidavellir had forged something truly special for me with the full intent of it being used to kill Thanos. Forged of Nth, Eighth, Uru, Promethium, Adamantium, and even Vibranium, it was an armor truly fitting of its name as the God Slayer Armor.
The Armor was a full-body black and blue suit. It gave me a healing factor stronger than even Wolverine's. I also got Magical immunity, Impact Immunity, Energy Absorption, Flight, Gravity Negation, Resurrection, Anti-Psionic Fields, Reincarnation, Power Amplification, and the armor grows with me. I could also summon it from anywhere. All things considered, I should be able to beat Thanos easily, but that didn't mean I didn't want to stack all the cards in my favor before taking the field myself. After all, Thanos was one of, if not the smartest, being in the universe, and I cannot underestimate that.
I did consider letting Thor take a shot at Thanos, but surprisingly, Thor agreed that he wasn't strong enough and that he couldn't take such a risk while Asgard is still recovering. It was very mature of him, which is why I am certain that he wanted to fight, but his Mother would kill him herself if he tried.
"Shouldn't you start fighting him now?" Mal0 asks while taking some of my popcorn.
Lucy also steals some of my popcorn while nodding to say she had the same question.
"I will fight very soon, but the Xenomorph Empress has a few more creatures she can send in. And my Magic Clone is almost ready to give the Empress the big D," I joke.
"Snrk. I still can't believe you called it that," Mal0 snorts with concealed laughter.
"Well, she wants to mate; I promised her an experience she would never forget. And having an antimatter bomb shoved into your womb is very memorable," I note.
Lucy and Mal0 cross their legs in worry. I burst into laughter as they glare at me for giving them that image in their heads. But my laughter dies off when they both look at each other and nod. I look at them suspiciously.
"You're up to something," I comment.
"You can never prove a thing," Mal0 teases.
I narrow my eyes in suspicion.
"Hmm, yes, well, I just realized I need to go deal with Mr Pawn Stars," I say while standing up.
I walk away but jump as something slaps my rear. I look back and glare at Lucy, but she points to Mal0, who looks betrayed.
"One of these days," I grumble while teleporting away.
I arrive on the Dwemer world and equip the God Slayer Armor and approach Thanos, who looks a bit out of breath and a little worse for wear.
"Now what?" Thanos complains.
"Ahh, I think Mr Purple Potato Head is angry," Handsome Jack mocks.
"So I take it you are with him," Thanos says while gesturing to the digital clone of Handsome Jack.
I nod.
"Good, cause I'm going to rip your spine out and beat you to death with it," Thanos says angrily.
He bursts into a run and rushes at me, but to me, he was surprisingly slow, so I moved a bit so his punch would miss while I used my Nth Metal sword to slice into his side.
"Argh!" Thanos says with a grimace of pain.
He touches his side and sees the purple blood and looks shocked at my bloody sword.
"Ooh, that's gotta hurt," Handsome Jack mocks.
I slice sideways and dispel Handsome Jack, as he was getting a bit annoying.
"I would thank you for silencing that pest if you weren't with him," Thanos says with grim determination.
I simply gesture for him to attack. This time he comes faster than before thanks to some magic, but the debuff magic he used on me didn't affect me, so I decided to punish him by dodging his attack and stabbing the sword into his back.
This wound is pretty bad, but Thanos doesn't give up, nor does he flee. He couldn't do the second, as I wouldn't let him, but it still stood that he didn't give up.
"Sigh. Well, you are disappointing, so let's end this," I comment and get into an iaido pose.
"Fine, let's get this over with," Thanos says while massively buffing himself with various spells.
Once he was done, he ran at me with all his power, but I didn't react, making him think he could strike me, but that was his mistake
"Martial Art: True God Flash," I say calmly.
It is over in a fraction of a second as I slowly sheath my blade.
Click
As the blade is fully sheathed, Thanos' head slides off his body and to the floor.
"But how..." were Thanos' last words.
'Thus ends the life of a tyrant.'
I store the body and leave, as I had other things to do.
'At least True God Flash worked. It seems my work paid off.'
True God Flash was my improvement upon the God Flash Martial Art that Brain Unglaus was famous for. It required a power boost, but I could do it. It was a true lightspeed attack. An attack that only Nth Metal or similar could handle.
