"And that's how I brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my empire," I say while closing the book that I was reading from.
"But what happened next?! What about the Shi'ar or the Kree? Or Ikaris!? Aren't they a threat?" asks Hera, my Daughter.
"Ikaris went to go live on a farm upstate but all of that that is a story for another time. Why don't you go find your mother and play some games with her?" I offer.
"But I want to hear what happens next!" says my son Stanford, named after his great-granduncle.
Hera and Stanford were two of my three kids with Mal0. They are adorable little bipedal wolf cubs. The last one was Luna, but she was quiet compared to my other kids. The other kid I have was with Lucy, which was a bit of a surprise to us both, as we didn't expect it to be possible. His name was Stanley, and he was the strangest child I have. He is an Elf but has some form of telekinesis and yet has no Vectors like his mother. But I love him just as much as my other kids.
"Now, now, you three better not be causing your Father any issues," Mal0 says while entering the room.
"No, mother," they all say.
Mal0 comes over and gives me a little kiss on the cheek.
"It's lunchtime, and I made you your favorites, so let's go!" Mal0 tells the kids.
"YAY!" they holler as they run towards the kitchen.
"You know you're an amazing mother; don't let anyone tell you otherwise," I compliment.
"Thank you, sweetie," Mal0 says while giving me another kiss, but this time she bites my ear and whispers.
"I want more," Mal0 says huskily before walking away with overly swaying hips.
"Pervert!" I grumble.
Mal0 just laughs me off and goes to feed the kids. I just sigh and shake my head.
It had been a wonderful several years. I got to see so much and learn so much more.
"Glad to hear it," says a voice I hadn't heard in a long time.
"God!" I say with shock as I realize I was back in the white room.
'Oh no!'
"Don't worry, you aren't dead. I just thought I would drop in for a minute to check in with you. But seeing as I can't go to you, I had to bring you to me," God says with a smile.
"Yeah, I noticed that annoying loophole in my wish," I say with a slightly annoyed grin.
"Yes, you should have made summoning someone not possible, but I suppose it isn't that big of a deal. Few know how to do that, and even fewer would bother doing so," God says with a calm smile.
I nod with a smile, as the adventures that came with it were fun, and I would even say worth it.
"So how has your new life been?" God asks.
"Wonderful. There were some issues here and there, but overall I couldn't be happier. I have two loving wives that I wish to spend the rest of eternity with. Children to take care of, and a Kingdom where everyone can live their life without fear or corruption, something that I never had in my first life," I say with a pleasant smile.
"Glad to hear it. I'm happy for you," God says with a happy smile.
"Thank you! Truly thank you for what you did. I don't care why you did it, but I found true happiness because of you, and I will be eternally grateful," I say while bowing my head deeply.
"There's no need for that. You built what you have yourself. I may have given you the materials, but you were the one to use them to make things. And it's been fun watching your adventures," God says with a smile.
Suddenly, God looks at a clock on the wall and nods.
"Unfortunately, we are out of time. You have a race to get to," God says with a smile.
"Oh, well, thank you for bringing me here. Any advice?" I ask.
"Slow and steady wins the race," God says with a knowing smile.
I think about that, but before I can think that much, I am suddenly back in my office, and I can see I had a race to get to.
"About time you showed up; I was starting to think you weren't gonna compete," Quicksilver says with a massive grin.
"And give up the chance to race against the supposed fastest man alive? In your dreams," I retort.
"Alright, you two, I want a clean race. No biting, no scratching, no punching, no kicking, and no lollygagging. You are friends, so act like it. The first to cross the finish line wins," Thor says seriously.
We get into position as I channel the power that gives me speed, causing two cyan colored wings to grow from my back. Quicksilver sees them and grins. I grin back as my eyes shine with rainbow energy.
"3... 2... 1... GO!!!!" As soon as Thor says that, we begin running.
We instantly blitz past the sound barrier and run side by side.
"Heh, you're pretty good for an old man," Quicksilver mocks.
"I'm an elf!" I joke back.
"Well, in the famous words of Sonic, You're too slow!" Quicksilver mocks as he speeds up massively.
I didn't catch up right away, as I was keeping a good pace and I was confident I could win. We could both breach the lightspeed barrier, but God's words of wisdom made me realize that Quicksilver did have an issue. His Stamina wasn't endless. My speed didn't use up stamina, so I could outlast him.
We keep racing for a while as I keep a steady distance from Quicksilver until we reach the last stretch, where I decide to casually increase my speed to be right next to him.
"H-How can you look so fine?" Quicksilver asks.
"Slow and steady wins the race, but how about we go all out and see who is the fastest?" I offer.
"Fine!" Quicksilver focuses really hard and seems to increase his speed quite rapidly.
We both breach the light barrier, but I didn't stop there while Quicksilver struggled to go much faster than light. Don't get me wrong, he was fast, but I was faster. Much faster, as I went double, triple, and then even quadruple times the speed of light and left him in the dust, creating a blast of multicolored magic that was seen across the universe as I finished the race in first.
"F-Fine, you win," Quicksilver says before vomiting on the side of the track.
"I-I won't underestimate a pegasus again," Quicksilver says as he falls to the ground in exhaustion.
"Now for the winner's gift," Lucy says.
Mal0 and Lucy kiss me on both of my cheeks at once, and I blush a bit.
"Oh, you," I say while smiling like a love-struck fool.
But that smile drops, and my blush explodes as I catch a certain smell from Mal0.
'Uh oh.'
I check the date and realize it was Valentine's Day, which was a dangerous day to be around Mal0, as it was that time of year that she was a bit more... interested in reproduction.
"I just remembered I need to..." I don't finish as I am teleported away with Lucy and Mal0, and my amulet is taken.
'Oh no!'
