Chapter 131 - Final Author's Note

Howdy there, partner!

You Yee'd Your Last Haw! Or I guess I did. This is the Author coming to you, not live from my super secret underground bunker in Antarctica; no, you cannot come live with me. This is my final Author's Note of this fic. I like to write these to look back on the story I wrote and how far I have come. I think I did pretty well with this story, even if there were plenty of things I can improve upon. It's not perfect, but this isn't my job; I just do this for fun. And even if only one person enjoyed the story, then that still means I added something to the world. This story came out to a respectable 250k words. And I can at least be happy that I made this and not some AI Slop bot that vomits nothing burgers. I believe that anyone can write, and you should especially in times like these where honest-to-god human-made work is becoming increasingly rare. I would gladly read a terrible fanfic with nonsensical grammar and plots rather than some Slop made by an AI. But that's enough ranting.

This is the 5th book I've written and my 4th one I completed. There were a few things that I cut out as they just didn't fit into the story, or I didn't feel inspired enough to write about them. I don't think I will write another Marvel Fanfic for a while, as I feel I have done most of what I wanted to do with that verse, and sometimes the sheer amount of info in that setting can be overwhelming to write about, and I got quite a few complaints about this or that thing not being canon. But, well, sometimes you just have to deal with that.

I do want to thank everyone who stuck with me to the end of this story. I know it wasn't perfect and the early chapters are a bit rough, but I did learn a lot about writing thanks to that. And I hope to take those skills to my next novel. But hey, I hope it kept you entertained or at least distracted from the daily humdrum and the sometimes very depressing world we live in. And if anyone is considering writing their own story, I strongly suggest doing so, even if you don't share it or even write it down; most of my stories start as fun ideas that play out in my mind, and I find that it helps my mind stay active, and it's very relaxing and freeing and helped me through some tough times in the past.

Now, if anyone is curious about my next story, here is a simple little synopsis of sorts. It's a CYOA where the MC picks and chooses perks and drawbacks to build his character. It also operates on a system that I can only describe as a fusion between DnD 5e, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, and a world-hopping system. Lots of different worlds, dungeons, and trials that they will face and explore. The base world will be Monster Musume: Daily Life With A Monster Girl, so yeah, expect a harem. It's also gonna be an experiment for me, as the Harem will be 6 girls, which is more than I have ever written before, but if I find it doesn't work, then I won't add that many. Most are chosen already, but I am open to suggestions, as this will be a Multiversal Fic. Oh, and I made the CYOA myself from a lot of research and brainstorming. To put it into perspective, just the Drawbacks take up around 6k words. And that's just the drawbacks. Honestly, there is only so much I can explain here. The first chapter was so long I had to split it up due to WebNovels' length restrictions, and it still came out to over 25k words, and I think it does a much better job explaining the system and overall situation.

But that's about all I have for now. So I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and I hope you enjoyed Elf With A Template System In The MCU. Until next time, Ciao.
