Chapter 171 - Chapter 170: Boundaryless Domain

Jogo merely glanced at him indifferently before withdrawing his gaze, concentrating on sorting his hand of cards. Clearly, he hadn't taken the words to heart.

After witnessing Rin's Domain, War World, he had long since given up any hope of defeating Rin.

Even if Kenjaku said he had a method, Jogo treated it as the ravings of a madman. If Rin released the seven Special Grade Cursed Spirits in his possession, the four people present would simply be four dishes he could eliminate at will.

Mahito, however, grew interested and asked curiously:

"Oh? What method do you have? Is that human named Rin really that difficult to deal with?"

"My method is a Domain battle."

Kenjaku said slowly.

"Pfft."

Jogo suddenly laughed, not out of happiness, but out of exasperation.

In the past, the moment he heard those words, he would have likely reduced the entire mahjong table to ashes. But now, he merely stared intently at Kenjaku, his eyes cold:

"How dare you bring up Domains? Heh heh. If we didn't use Domains, perhaps we'd have a chance to inflict a scratch on him. But the moment he activates War World, the battle is already over.

Now you're telling us to engage that guy in a Domain battle? Are you perhaps a spy sent by Tokyo Jujutsu High?"

Kenjaku ignored his sarcasm. Instead, he pushed over all the mahjong tiles in his hand, revealing a winning hand of 'All Simples,' and spoke in a relaxed tone:

"I win."

Then, he looked up at the three of them, his gaze suddenly turning sharp:

"I didn't say I wanted you to clash Domains with Rin. I said I would do it myself."

"Now, I can show you my Domain."

Before he finished speaking, Hanami, who had been silent, suddenly moved.

She violently flipped the mahjong tiles in front of her, and her massive hand, carrying violent Cursed Energy, instantly clawed toward Kenjaku's neck. The Cursed Energy in her palm resembled condensed vines, ready to strangle everything at any moment.

Her meaning was obvious: if Kenjaku dared to make the slightest move, she would immediately attack.

"Wait."

Jogo suddenly spoke, stopping Hanami. He looked at Kenjaku, his eyes complex:

"Since he dares to say this, let him show us.

What capability does he truly possess to boast such a claim?"

Hanami hesitated, slowly retracting her hand, but the Cursed Energy around her remained taut, her gaze fixed on Kenjaku. If the opponent showed even a hint of weakness, she would attack without hesitation.

The smile on Kenjaku's lips grew increasingly strange, like a venomous snake dormant for a thousand years finally baring its fangs.

He slowly stood up, his loose robes flapping loudly amid the surging Cursed Energy.

In the dim room, the previously subtle Cursed Energy suddenly erupted, sweeping wildly through the entire space like a breaching black torrent.

That aura was cold, sinister, and carried a sense of profound sin spanning a thousand years, causing the three Special Grade Cursed Spirits present to involuntarily tense up, their surrounding Cursed Energy instinctively forming a defense.

"My Domain is named, Womb Profusion."

The instant the deep words fell, the malevolent Cursed Energy surged violently as if it were tangible.

A hideous fissure suddenly split open on Kenjaku's back, blood and Cursed Energy intertwining as a twisted, grotesque Tree of Sin abruptly unfurled, its branches and leaves spreading out to occupy nearly half the room.

The trunk was ink-black, covered in dark red, vein-like raised patterns. Every leaf shimmered with an eerie bloody glow, and hanging from the branches were countless bizarre individuals of various forms—some resembling unformed fetuses, others twisted limbs—all connected by flesh and blood, emitting faint whimpers and roars. Every outline spoke of the monstrous sin Kenjaku had nurtured over a thousand years, feeding on countless living beings.

The air seemed to solidify, and the dense smell of blood mixed with the putrid stench of Cursed Energy was nauseating.

"This aura..."

Mahito's confident smile instantly froze. His pupils contracted, and he subconsciously took half a step back.

Although he was a newly born Special Grade Cursed Spirit, he could clearly sense the terrifying power contained within this Domain—it was pure malevolence, a darkness capable of swallowing everything.

The plant Cursed Energy around Hanami surged wildly. Her leaf-like hands clenched tightly as she vigilantly stared at the Tree of Sin on Kenjaku's back.

She could feel that every leaf and every fruit on this tree carried immense Cursed Energy, resembling countless miniature cursed spirit cores.

Jogo's reaction was the most intense.

The moment Kenjaku activated his Domain Expansion, Jogo immediately channeled his Cursed Energy, intending to deploy his own Domain to resist.

"This is..." Jogo abruptly looked up, his eyes filled with unbelievable shock.

He carefully sensed the Domain rules around them, his expression growing increasingly solemn. "A semi-open Boundless Domain?!"

The Cursed Spirits present all understood what this meant.

Conventional Domains either had clear boundaries, acting like independent small worlds, or were completely open, spreading by leveraging the environment.

A semi-open Boundless Domain meant that Kenjaku's Domain had no fixed range, yet could permeate its rules into every surrounding corner, retaining the rule suppression of a Domain while shedding the constraints of a boundary!

As soon as Kenjaku finished speaking, the smile on his lips turned into cold killing intent.

He gave Jogo and the others no time to react. With a thought, the previously contained Domain aura erupted again. This time, instead of being confined to the room's eerie atmosphere, it wildly expanded outwards!

"My Boundless Domain forgoes the ability to directly control the opponent, but it can expand the Domain's range to several times that of a normal closed-type Domain."

Kenjaku's voice was like something from the abyss, carrying the majesty of absolute control. "The defense of a closed-type Domain is always concentrated on the inside to resist internal attacks, but the outside of the Domain is the most vulnerable place."

Before his words finished, the expanding Womb Profusion Domain had already slammed into Jogo's Domain.

There was no earth-shattering collision, only the sizzling sound of Cursed Energy rules grinding against each other.

Jogo's Domain had barely unfolded when dense cracks began to appear on its dark red barrier.

His Domain was originally a closed form, internally structured with the rules of an inferno. But under the impact of Kenjaku's Boundless Domain, the outer barrier was like paper, wildly wrapped and torn by the black vines extending from the Tree of Sin.

"This is bad!"

Jogo's face changed drastically. He desperately channeled his Cursed Energy, trying to reinforce the Domain barrier.

Yet, he could clearly feel that Kenjaku's Domain was surging in from all directions like overwhelming darkness. Every impact carried the terrifying characteristic of devouring Cursed Energy. The Cursed Energy he injected into his Domain was instantly absorbed and converted the moment it touched the outer barrier, making effective defense impossible.

This was the terror of the Boundless Domain.

It did not engage the opponent's Domain in internal entanglement, but directly attacked the weakest, outer structure of the closed-type Domain.

Kenjaku's Domain range was several times that of Jogo's, wrapping Jogo's Domain tightly like a massive black net. Countless blood-glowing vines and branches from the Tree of Sin hammered down on the Domain barrier like a torrential rain.

"Bang, bang, bang!"

Dense impact sounds rang out consecutively. The cracks on Jogo's Domain barrier multiplied. Under the suppression of the Boundaryless Evil, the dark red flame rules struggled even to burn; the originally scorching flames gradually dimmed, like a flickering candle in the wind.

He could feel his Domain being rapidly eroded.

Hanami and Mahito were pale, staring intently at the continuously shattering Domain barrier.

They were inside Jogo's Domain, originally believing the barrier offered temporary safety. But now, the speed at which the outer barrier shattered far exceeded their imagination, and Kenjaku's Domain aura was already seeping in through the cracks.

"Hold on, Jogo!" Mahito roared.

The plant Cursed Energy around Hanami surged wildly, her leaf-like hands striking out waves of green Cursed Energy, attempting to block the erosion of the Sinful Vines. But these Cursed Energy waves were like stones sinking into the sea, unable to affect Kenjaku's Domain in the slightest.

Time passed agonizingly. In just a short minute, Jogo's Domain could no longer hold up.

"Crack!"

A crisp shattering sound rang out. Jogo's Domain barrier completely collapsed, and the dark red flame rules instantly dispersed like ashes scattered by the wind.

Stripped of the Domain's protection, Jogo, Hanami, and Mahito were instantly exposed beneath Kenjaku's Womb Profusion Domain.
