Hufflepuff transformed into a beam of light and vanished into the distant lake.
Then everything became silent.
Logan stared blankly at the calm water while rubbing his aching forehead.
That's it?
Seriously?
Because of Ravenclaw's ambush, Hufflepuff had no choice but to seal the truth inside the Silver Cup and hide it beneath the lake, hoping someone in the future would eventually uncover everything.
Logan understood the logic.
But why choose such an absurd hiding place?
A lake?
Think about it carefully.
Nobody besides Ravenclaw even knew tonight's events occurred.
And after hiding the cup, Hufflepuff literally launched herself into the middle of a random lake.
Who exactly would someday wander over here for no reason, suddenly decide to go swimming, and then conveniently discover a hidden silver cup at the bottom?
Honestly, Ravenclaw should've been celebrating.
If Logan were in her position, he would've laughed himself unconscious.
Unfortunately, Ravenclaw clearly didn't feel the same way.
"Damn it!"
"Damn you, Helga!"
"Even in death you still had to leave behind a time bomb for me?!"
The false Ravenclaw looked completely furious.
Refusing to give up, she immediately charged toward the lake in an attempt to retrieve the Silver Cup personally.
Then—
FLASH!
Golden light exploded outward.
Before Ravenclaw could even touch the water, she was blasted backward once again and violently slammed into another tree.
BOOM!
"…DAMN IT!"
Ravenclaw staggered upright while glaring furiously at her smoking feet.
At that point, she finally realized the truth.
It was impossible for her to retrieve the Silver Cup herself.
Even if the cup floated directly in front of her face, touching it would trigger Hufflepuff's sacrificial magic.
Best case scenario?
She'd get launched into another tree.
Worst case?
She'd lose an arm.
The realization drove her nearly insane with rage.
If she had simply devoured Hufflepuff immediately while the woman was fatally wounded, none of this would've happened.
Logan silently watched everything unfold while wondering why these legendary wizards solved problems in such wildly dramatic ways.
Maybe it was just a founder thing.
Then suddenly, Ravenclaw opened her mouth unnaturally wide and spat a mass of dark brown liquid onto the ground.
The disgusting substance immediately slithered toward the lake at incredible speed.
Logan's expression shifted slightly.
Ravenclaw had clearly abandoned any attempt to personally enter the lake.
Instead, she found another solution.
A loophole.
Although Hufflepuff's sacrificial curse prevented Ravenclaw herself from retrieving the cup, nothing stopped her from placing other things inside the lake.
The dark liquid rapidly disappeared beneath the water.
Clearly, whatever entered the lake was not friendly.
From now on, anyone attempting to search beneath the water would likely encounter an extremely unpleasant surprise.
Hufflepuff thought she created a safeguard.
But from Ravenclaw's perspective?
She merely created a permanent trap.
Afterward, Ravenclaw even planned to alter the surrounding environment entirely and bury the lake itself so nobody would accidentally stumble upon the location.
Honestly, her approach nearly succeeded.
Up until Logan's current timeline, nobody had ever uncovered the Silver Cup.
If not for the Grimoire's guidance, the artifact probably would've remained hidden forever.
The memory world slowly began collapsing around him.
Everything distorted.
The lake vanished.
The sky shattered apart.
Then—
Logan suddenly regained consciousness inside the Forbidden Forest.
He looked around instinctively.
The barren clearing remained exactly as before.
The only difference was the heavy silver cup still resting in his hands.
Which meant everything he just witnessed truly happened.
It wasn't an illusion.
At that exact moment—
Mission Complete.

Seeing the newly acquired Legend Points immediately soothed Logan's exhausted soul slightly.
After all the suffering he just endured, at least the rewards were worth it.
Then another notification appeared.

Logan's eyes instantly lit up.
"This is incredible…"
He carefully examined the tiny silver cup resting in his palm.
Although he still didn't fully understand how to use it, the artifact now belonged to him.
Eventually, he would uncover its secrets.
Still, one thing quickly caught his attention.
Ever since returning from the memory world, the transparent water inside the cup had vanished completely.
Which meant…
That memory could only be viewed once.
After someone witnessed the truth, the recording disappeared permanently.
In other words—
Only Logan now knew what happened all those years ago.
Honestly…
Did the truth even matter anymore?
So much time had passed.
Everyone involved was already dead.
History had shattered everything beyond recognition long ago.
From a practical perspective, Hogwarts still existed. The world hadn't ended.
Perhaps the truth truly no longer mattered.
More importantly, the danger hidden behind all this was enormous.
Logan quickly decided one thing:
Unless the Grimoire specifically issued related missions in the future, he absolutely would not investigate further on his own initiative.
Especially that mysterious "Marie-Pool" mentioned by Slytherin.
Whatever it was…
It sounded dangerous.
Since the Silver Cup wasn't a Grimoire-generated item, it couldn't be stored within the system space.
Fortunately, Logan had prepared for this possibility beforehand.
He immediately pulled out a small pouch and stored the cup inside carefully.
Perfect fit.
At this point, it was finally time to leave.
If he returned quickly enough, he might still catch Harry winning the Quidditch match.
Thinking that, Logan quietly followed the hidden trail markers he left behind earlier and began making his way back toward Hogwarts.
However, midway through his journey, he suddenly spotted several strange creatures moving through the forest.
Human upper bodies.
Horse lower bodies.
Centaurs.
The creatures seemed to be searching desperately for something.
Logan immediately remembered the centaurs from the original story.
What are they looking for?
Whatever.
Not my problem.
Besides, centaurs were famously arrogant and hostile toward humans. Logan had absolutely no interest in accidentally getting mistaken for a suspicious intruder and dragged away for interrogation.
Nope.
Time to leave immediately.
Meanwhile nearby—
"Firenze, have you found anything over there?" Bane asked anxiously.
"Sorry," Firenze replied helplessly. "Nothing on my side. What about you?"
Bane immediately cursed under his breath.
The tribal elder instructed them to search for an object radiating silver light somewhere nearby.
Yet after searching for so long, they still found absolutely nothing.
Worse still, their constant movement throughout the area had already irritated numerous dangerous creatures within the Forbidden Forest.
If this continued, conflict would become unavoidable.
Naturally, Bane immediately blamed everything on Firenze.
It was definitely this weak-willed fool's fault that their team couldn't accomplish anything properly.
