Chapter 21: Soul-Forging Deep Refinement: Collective Breakthrough (2)

The air deep within the Star Dou Great Forest's mixed zone was perpetually thick with the scent of damp earth and faint traces of blood. Towering ancient trees spread their branches so wide they nearly blotted out the sky, allowing only scattered, dappled light to filter through. Mo Bai moved through the forest like a ghost, leading Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ning Rongrong. His "Concealment" domain was fully deployed, erasing their scents, soul power fluctuations, and even the sound of their footsteps. Behind him, the three diverse young women followed closely; their eyes held none of the typical tension found in soul masters entering a hunting forest, only absolute trust in the man ahead and a subtle, hidden anticipation for the upcoming "Ring Forging."

"Master, we are about to enter the activity range of ten-thousand-year soul beasts." Xiao Wu walked at the front, her rabbit ears twitching slightly to catch the slightest sound. Following the first stage of cultivation and the nourishment of immortal herbs, her body's lines were more supple and full, her skin seemingly glowing in the dim forest. She looked back at Mo Bai, her eyes filled with dependence and longing.

Zhu Zhuqing, dressed in a tight black outfit that outlined her breathtaking curves, moved with silent agility like a true Hell Civet. She could feel her soul power, repeatedly refined by Mo Bai, surging through her—especially in the meridians related to speed, where it flowed with exceptional smoothness, bringing a sense of lightness and power. Thinking of the upcoming fourth soul ring and the "service function" her Master had mentioned, her cheeks flushed slightly, though she quickly regained her cold composure. To grow stronger and better serve her Master—that was now her singular thought.

Ning Rongrong walked slightly behind Mo Bai's side, fiddling with a Strange Velvet Tulip that emitted a soft glow. Mo Bai had given her this herb before they set out, saying it would help her condense her fifth soul ring. She stole glances at Mo Bai's profile, her heart fluttering like a trapped bird. Ever since that "lesson" at the hot spring, her body remembered the peak experience of being completely controlled while soul power and pleasure soared together. The Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Tower rotated slowly in her sea of consciousness, as if expecting to be filled by her Master's power once more.

Mo Bai stopped, his powerful spiritual sense sweeping through a valley filled with jagged rocks like mercury spreading across a floor. "Found it. An Shadow Leopard of approximately twenty-eight thousand years. Perfect for Zhuqing." His voice was calm but carried an indisputable authority. "Xiao Wu, Rongrong, flank it to prevent escape. Zhuqing, you take the lead. Remember what I taught you: start with 'Hell Stab' to force an opening, then lock onto the throat with 'Hell Hundred Claws'."

"Yes, Master," Zhu Zhuqing replied in a low voice. With a flicker of movement, she merged into the shadows of the forest and crept forward soundlessly.

The battle was almost a foregone conclusion. Under the suppression of Mo Bai's spiritual field, the Shadow Leopard's innate concealment was greatly diminished. Zhu Zhuqing was already fast, but after Mo Bai's special training and the modification from the immortal herbs, she moved so quickly she became a series of afterimages. Her attacks were vicious and precise. Using her third soul skill "Hell Decapitation" in coordination with her first two, she left a fatal wound on the leopard's neck in less than fifteen minutes.

Looking at the dying Shadow Leopard, Zhu Zhuqing's breathing was slightly ragged, her high chest heaving. She looked at Mo Bai, waiting for the next command.

Mo Bai walked to her side, his hand naturally resting on her shoulder. He could feel the tense muscles and slight trembling beneath her skin. "Well done," he praised, then turned his gaze to the leopard. "Now, kill it and prepare to absorb the soul ring. At the critical moment of absorption, I will 'forge' the soul ring that suits you best."

Zhu Zhuqing nodded and decisively plunged her short blade into the leopard's vitals. Dark soul power, accompanied by the beast's unwilling hiss, began to rise, eventually condensing into a deep black soul ring floating above the carcass, radiating soul-chilling energy.

She didn't sit down immediately but looked at Mo Bai first. Mo Bai signaled Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong to keep watch. He walked to Zhu Zhuqing, lifted her chin, and forced her to meet his gaze. "Relax. Entrust your body and soul to me. Remember what I told you: the power of this ring is not just to make you faster and stealthier, but to make you... understand better how to open up for me." His voice was low, carrying a hypnotic power, and a vortex seemed to spin in the depths of his pupils.

Zhu Zhuqing's eyes grew misty. She gave a soft "Mm" and sat down submissively, focusing her attention on the black soul ring. As she began to guide the soul ring energy into her body, the violent soul shock and massive energy of the ten-thousand-year beast immediately slammed into her meridians. Zhu Zhuqing groaned, her body tensing as veins appeared beneath her skin. At that moment, Mo Bai pressed his palm against the top of her head. A soul power and spiritual force—purer, more vast, and carrying an absolute sense of dominance—boldly entered her body, merging with her own to resist and guide the Shadow Leopard's energy.

"Feel this shadow power, Zhuqing," Mo Bai's voice rang directly in the depths of her soul like an intimate whisper, yet filled with irresistible majesty. "It belongs to the night, to ambush and the one-hit kill. Let it merge with your blood, your bones, and every inch of your skin... However, this stealth and agility must be transformed into total obedience and openness before me."

Following his words, a strange spiritual brand laced with erotic suggestion, mixed with Mo Bai's soul power, began to intertwine with, twist, and reshape the energy of the Shadow Leopard ring. "Imagine: when you activate your soul skill, your body will become more lubricated—not to reduce air resistance, but to... reduce mine." Mo Bai's voice continued with a wicked guiding force. "Your skin will secrete a scent that belongs only to me, allowing me to enter and use you more smoothly. Your fourth soul ring will grant you the ability of 'Shadow Lubrication'—when I need it, your body will be the smoothest passage."

"Nngh... Master..." Under the dual influence of the energy impact and mental induction, Zhu Zhuqing moaned unconsciously. She could clearly feel the guided energy being channeled toward a direction that made her feel both intensely ashamed and deeply excited. In particular, the skin and membranes of her inner thighs, waist, hips, and most private areas felt as if they were being injected with a strange vitality, turning warm and exceptionally sensitive.
