The absorption process lasted nearly two hours. As the last bit of black energy vanished into Zhu Zhuqing, her body jolted. Behind her, a deep black fourth soul ring flared to life, shining alongside her other three (Yellow, Purple, Purple, Black). She opened her eyes; her cold pupils were now watery, her cheeks bore an abnormal flush, and her breath was hot. She had successfully broken through to Level 52.

Information on her new fourth soul skill entered her mind—"Hell Shadow Doppelganger." It could create up to three shadow clones with physical interference capabilities, making them hard to distinguish from the real one and greatly enhancing her mobility and deception. But the stronger sensation came from within. She could clearly perceive a faint, cool, and slippery sensation in certain areas of her skin, especially those "focused on" earlier. She instinctively pressed her legs together; the emptiness and slight dampness there made her heart race. She looked at Mo Bai with complex eyes—there was joy in her newfound power, but also a sense of belonging from being thoroughly marked, and... a hidden craving.

"How does it feel?" Mo Bai leaned down, his finger stroking her burning cheek before sliding down her neck and tapping lightly just below her collarbone. "Ah~!" Zhu Zhuqing couldn't help but let out a soft cry, her body twitching as if hit by an electric current. At the spot where Mo Bai's finger touched, her skin automatically secreted a tiny amount of transparent, odorless, yet exceptionally slippery liquid, instantly dampening that small patch of her black outfit. She felt the area become intensely sensitive, magnifying the sensation of Mo Bai's touch to the extreme.

"It seems the effect is good." Mo Bai withdrew his hand with satisfaction, rubbing his fingers together to feel the unique silkiness. "'Shadow Lubrication', a passive trigger, limited only to me. In the future, you will be much more 'useful'."

These words were blunt and cruel, yet Zhu Zhuqing lowered her head, her ears turning bright red as she replied, "Yes... thank you, Master, for your gift."

Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong approached. Xiao Wu's eyes held understanding and a hint of envy (her "Spring Stream" required active activation), while Ning Rongrong looked at Zhu Zhuqing with curiosity and a bit of nervousness. She could feel that Sister Zhuqing's aura was stronger, but she also seemed... different.

"Rest and consolidate your realm," Mo Bai said to Zhu Zhuqing, then turned his gaze deeper into the forest. "Next is Rongrong's fifth soul ring. I need a light-attribute or at least a positive-energy soul beast to strengthen your Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Tower."

Finding a suitable beast for Ning Rongrong took more time. Light-attribute soul beasts were rare, and ten-thousand-year ones were deep within the mixed zone. Two days later, in a clearing covered with strange glowing moss, they found traces of a pack of "Radiant Unicorns." These beasts were relatively gentle but possessed formidable attack power; their horns could release purification and intense light blasts. Mo Bai chose a male specimen of about twenty-three thousand years—elegant, pure white, with a horn shining with a soft yet resilient light.

The tactic was again simple and effective. Mo Bai's domain suppression, combined with the harassment from Xiao Wu and the newly strengthened Zhu Zhuqing, created an opening. Finally, Ning Rongrong, with Mo Bai's assistance, used the tower's amplification combined with a blinding powder Mo Bai provided. The Radiant Unicorn was heavily wounded by Zhu Zhuqing's "Hell Shadow Doppelganger" and "Hell Decapitation."

Looking at the fallen unicorn, Ning Rongrong gripped her Strange Velvet Tulip, feeling nervous. This was a soul ring over twenty thousand years, far exceeding the limit for a normal soul master's fifth ring. But thinking of Mo Bai by her side, she felt full of confidence.

The absorption process again required Mo Bai's full intervention. As Ning Rongrong guided the warm white light of the black soul ring into her body, Mo Bai pressed his palm against the center of her back. Unlike the "forging" of Zhu Zhuqing, his guidance for Ning Rongrong was more "deep" and "comprehensive."

"Rongrong, feel this power of light." Mo Bai's voice echoed in her consciousness while a current of heat poured from his palm, racing through her meridians and eventually converging at her dantian to resonate with the phantom of the nine-layered tower. "The Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Tower is the pinnacle of support, a tool to amplify others. But remember, everything you have is first and foremost to please and serve me."

Ning Rongrong trembled in the energy surge, the tower manifesting above her head and glowing brilliantly. "Let this power of light not only illuminate others but warm yourself... to please me." Mo Bai's spiritual force, like a fine chisel, began to inscribe new rules within the pure light energy. "When my palm covers this area," his intent guided the modified energy toward her chest and abdomen, "your tower shall chime for me."

"Nngh~ Master... so hot..." Ning Rongrong felt her abdomen and chest burning—not with pain, but with a tingling, empty heat. The light of the tower flickered with her sensations.

"Your fifth soul ring will become our 'Glazed Resonance'," Mo Bai said with indisputable certainty. "My touch is the key that unlocks your full potential. Your body and your tower must remember this."

The soul ring energy was forced into the martial soul and body under Mo Bai's distortion and guidance. When she successfully absorbed it, her new fifth soul skill "Glazed Light" was born—it could massively increase the amplification of a single attribute (Strength, Speed, Soul Power, or Defense) by a staggering 80%, stackable with other skills. But Ning Rongrong cared more about the changes in her body. She clearly felt that while Mo Bai's hand remained on her back, her chest and lower abdomen pulsed with a strange throb. The phantom of the tower behind her vibrated slightly, emitting a faint golden halo that enveloped Mo Bai. She understood immediately—this was "Glazed Resonance," a passive effect. Whenever her Master touched specific parts of her body, her martial soul would automatically provide him with a slight all-attribute boost. This direct link between her support ability and her bodily service made her feel both shy and a twisted sense of satisfaction.

"Master..." She turned around, looking at Mo Bai with watery eyes, leaning into his arms. "Rongrong's tower... will only shine for Master in the future."
