Chapter 410 - Juna Draws Path

Juna counted twelve glowing pylons from the western archive parapet, tracing the imperial circuit they laid across the capital.

One careless cut could send the decree into occupied homes, so Juna marked the safe route before drawing her bow.

Each celestial pylon projected thick ribbons of white-gold light across the slate rooftops, linking the entire city into one shared imperial circuit.

Juna crouched at the edge of the western archive parapet, her wolf ears twitching as she tracked the harmonic vibrations in the tiles.

"If we smash one node blindly, the feedback will widen the load across the neighboring two pylons," she said in a low whisper.

"One cut cannot reach every pylon without crossing civilian homes! The openings are connected by the routes between them!" she explained.

Hajin stood beside her, looking out over the sprawling sea of rooftops where imperial executioners stalked the shadowed chimneys.
