Chapter 41 - Chapter 41:Emotional Gap

The classroom was calm, too calm perhaps but not in a way anyone would talk or question about.

"Turn to page thirty-two."

The professor's voice was steady, and seems practiced. Pages flipped almost in unison.

"Flip… flip…"

Velarisse followed along, her fingers resting lightly on the edge of her book. Ink lines, clean notes, perfectly in order.

She listened, she wrote, she existed within the rhythm of the class without effort.

And yet–something didn't align.

"The answer is simple," the teacher continued, writing across the board.

A student raised their hand.

"Yes?"

"Isn't that's the same as what we discussed yesterday?"

A small pause.

The professor smiled faintly.

"Yes. It builds from that concept itself."

Velarisse stilled, enough for her to notice it herself.

["Yes, we did talk about this..."]

Her gaze dropped to her notes, lines filled the page neatly, perfectly recorded properly. There was zero out of place. She had a feeling that it already did happened. She looked back up, while the teacher continuing the lesson, students nodded, some whispers to their seatmate and some was laughing quitely, might be because of the stupid questions they think. It was a just a normal high school experiences.

But for Velarisse it felt something differently, and he felt it again,... Familiarity. Things that didn't belong to recorded events.

["Why does this feel like it already happened?"]

She didn't move or react she simply stayed by the question. She flipped back a page. Then another, carefully but nothing, there was non-repeated notes. Everything they discussed now was only in the paper. For Velarisse if something was wrong she would fix it, and understand, but nothing..... nothing.

Still...she still feels something is wrong.

Velarisse's gaze shifted slightly across the room, she wasn't searching for something but perhaps only moving, until it stopped...it stopped to the person near to the window, a person whos posture always straight and an expression that shows she's always calm...Lunivara.

There was nothing unusual or out of place but in her extinct she could feel about her presence didn't settle correctly.

Velarisse frowned slightly.

["She was here earlier..."]

Of course she was, they are in the same class, after all. Velarisse tried to follow the thought.

["She was sitting there...yes...she answered earlier...did she?"] Her expression grew curious about lunivara.

Velarisse blinked once she straightened slightly in her seat.

["This don't feel right... But what is not right?"], she was a bit anxious by the thought and feeling she was having at that moment.

Velarisse exhaled, clearing her thoughts.

["Am I just... distracted?"]

But she still keep thinking of it, as though something inside her is reaching but could not grasped what it was.

Moments later...the lesson continued and everything seems to be fine, nothing wrong at all, when being asked she participates. Yet again her longing of inside her wouldn't budge even just a little, it grew abit more day by day.
