Leontius was walking through the corridor while observing the students he passed by, while observing he was eaves dropping, to get an update if the structure within the academy was still standing.
"...you already said that."
"No, I didn't."
"Yes, you did, can't fool me."
A pause.
"...Alright. Maybe I did."
Two man students we're having conversations.
Leontius continued walking, without finishing what he heard in he thoughts...["Repetition again"] he's brow frowned a bit, he slowed slightly and another group of people were right ahead at he's direction.
"...that's not what I meant."
"Then what did you mean?"
"I just said–––"
A pause.
"...Just don't mind."
Again.
Leontius slowed he's walking even more, thinking both of the conversation he just heard. ["Another repetition again...to be fair both have the same unequal pause and unfinished words...]
"Don't start that look again."
A voice came from behind, but leontius didn't turn to who was speaking at him.
"That look?" He replied.
The person walked behind him––Jude.
"Well, the look that I don't really like seeing in your face because we will have another work again, an example of this is when you stop listening to people and start studying them like there's the problem."
Leontius smirked, "They are the problem"
"If you keep saying that means your self is a problem too"
Leontius looked down as though he just realized it, Jude noticed he's silence...
["Wait, Did he really not realized that?] He's face was expression less.
"So, Are you really gonna say that even though you..."
Jude paused midway and looked at Leontius straight in the eyes.
"I know" he said it sincerely.
Jude smiled feeling proud, "Even if your a prince I can still lecture you... because I'm your one and only trusted friend and brother right."
He looked at Leontius again but this time with a bigger smile.
Leontius shook his head, a wry smile cutting through his disbelief.
The two of them stopped at their usual spot at the courtyard, A group of students nearby were talking a bit loudly and they overheard their conversation.
"...you didn't tell me that."
"I thought you knew."
"How would I know?"
"...I don't know."
The conversation ended just like that and the students get their things and left.
Leontius spoke quietly. "...There it is again."
Jude frowned. "What?"
Leontius turned slightly. "The Conversation structure."
Jude blinked once. "...You're kidding me."
Leontius gestured subtly.
"I just realized the different individuals and the different context...but had the same sequence of interaction."
Jude crossed his arms.
"Or... people just talk the same way sometimes?"
Leontius shook his head once.
"Yes, but not with identical pacing and resolution patterns."
Jude raised an eyebrow.
"Yoouu...memorizing random conversations now?"
Leontius answered without hesitation.
"Yes."
A beat.
"That's concerning." Jude sounds nervous, his face was grimacing.
"Jude I'd like u to take note"
"Õkay–"
["This is not a natural variation anymore"] "Make it a List"
"Okay...so?"
"Non behavioral similarity"
Jude sighed.
"Here we go."
Leontius continued.
"It is replication or repetition"
Jude immediately reacted.
"That's a strong word." being sarcastic.
Leontius didn't argue.
"It is accurate."
Leontius' gaze remained steady.
"Replication without source dependency."
Jude stared at him.
"...That sentence just sounds illegal to me."
Leontius ignored the comment and keep replaying the conversations, he adjusted he's space stepping out to the other side slightly, allowing he's self to see more into the view. ["It's also a non social behavior but structural..."]while thinking he saw a familiar lady walking through the corridor she did not see them because she was only passing by. Leontius gaze followed her for a brief moment longer, he realized that with so many students he passed by today this lady was different , different of how she moved within the structure. ["You are not synchoronized by this situation,....how?...Luna"]. He recalled the lady he bumped into the commoners market.
Leontius didn't conclude that thought because it might be incorrect but he included it, because it might be helpful too.
Jude stepped in front of him slightly, being impatient with the long silence.
"Okay, stop ."
Leontius looked at him.
Jude pointed around. "You're telling me all of this–"
He gestured at the students. "–is some kind of... what? System?"
Leontius didn't answer immediately, because he wasn't sure yet, but the idea itself remained.
"...Not confirmed yet"
Jude nodded quickly.
"Good, Let's stay there."
Leontius looked back across the corridor.
