"Sir, miss Clara message to remind you to pick her up for the party" Jeremy said he was looking at the logbook. Charles was just listening to him as he was looking out of the window. He was in the same predicament before Sam disappeared. Now, he only could imagine his smiling son with hopefully had the traits of his mother. He was in dazed as Jeremy was again reminding him again.
"Tell Clara, she should go first and I will just follow her to the ball" he said as he continued to day dreamed. Jeremy was quite down as he looked at his master. His master was ruthless but he changed last year. He was willing to compromise especially when Sam disappeared last year. But due to events that he did not want to recall, his master gradually being docile. He showed nothing but his business face. Clara recovered slowly as his master continued to accompany her recovery.
But Jeremy was well aware that Miss Clara was still hopeful to be the Misis, but Jeremy was well aware that it was not possible. Samantha was and would be always the legal wife.
"Did she really not contact me? not even once?" Charles was still looking through the window. He was in between of being hopeful and loosing hope.
"No master, not even an unknown number was calling your private number" Jeremy answered him.
Charles signalled him to go away. Immediately, Jeremy walked away.
"Sam, please come back. It have been more than a year. I miss you much " he murmured.
"Madame, good day" the young sales lady bowed as a lady in a very fitted blouse and fitted pencil cut. Her hair was curled at the ends. She wore a black glass and very red lips. A light pink on her thin cheeks.
She walked gracefully and did not bother to look at the sales lady. She was engrossed to the elegant bags on the shelves.
"Is there another color with that design?" she spoke.
"Yes madame. It comes with fuschia pink, black night and bloody red" the sales lady said,
"Oh bloody red" she gasped, "I will take it" she added.
"Oh I like that" then another lady spoke out when the sales lady brought out the bloody red handbag out of the stock room. Immediately, the young lady came closer to the sales lady. But then she signalled the sales lady to give it to her. But the sales lady was afraid to give it to her for it was the only stock left and it was already purchased to the madame.
"I apologize young miss, this bag is already sold out" the sales lady said,
"By whom? may I know, for I wish to buy it out from the customer" she asked,
"By me" The madame spoke out. She removed her black glasses.
The young lady froze in place as she saw the lady in front of her. Her heart was pacing as she could not believe it.
"You? it cannot be possible" she stummered.
"Really, Miss Clara. I find your reaction quite funny. You act like I came out from the grave" Samantha answered as she giggled a little.
"But sadly, this hand bag" she held it out, "Its my taste. I cannot let you have it unlike in trying to take my place as the wife a year ago" she added.
"Oh did you manage to be a wife MISS CLARA?" she questioned.
Clara glared at her as she had felt being wrong.
"Well, it is indeed quite fortunate for me to be with HIM. He was with me since our child died" she said as if attacking Sam's statement,
"Oh really... But I HAVE his child" she rolled her eyes with smirked on her, "I wonder what will happen if I let my child come" she spoke out loud, " but dont worry, I dont plan to" she walked away leaving Clara froze in realizing the possibility outcome.
