A large ball of white light suddenly , came out from her body , and an intense pain submerged her body , it was like if her soul has started to shatter and split into two pieces , that was so painful !!
Fortunately, it didn't last for too long , in a mere second the pain subsided and the light faded , leaving behind a scythe floating midair . Melanie reached out her hand , and the scythe directly landed on her palm . Its handle measured approximately 150 cm , its has a long and sharp blade in one of its end .
When the scythe's wooden handle touched her palm , she felt a warm and comfortable feeling , like she and the scythe were connected to each other , it was quite understandable , after all it was created from her soul .

_I don't know if it will be useful or not , I'll see when I fight other monsters . Next , the stat points , I can add them to improve one of my stat , let's see; I use a weapon although "Ame" is surprisingly light as a feather , I still need some strength to bring great damage to my opponents , then let put 3 points in Str and 2 points in Agi .
After Melanie increased her stats she felt a strange feeling overwhelm her body, it wasn't a harmful , or a pleasant one , it was just strange .
After some seconds , the strange feeling faded, she didn't notice any change with her body , maybe because the increase wasn't enough to make any changes.
Anyway , Melanie didn't think too much about it , and just started walking, with her Anima in her hand , towards the direction where the Zombie came from .

Melanie didn't walk for too long until she encountered a group of skeletons , there were three White Skeletons at Lv 1 and two others at Lv 2 .
Melanie was hidden behind a gravestone , observing silently those skeletons , They all didn't possess any weapons , their movements were not as slow as those of the Zombie , but both of them are dumb and that will be useful to defeat them .
Hiding her presence as much as possible, she headed toward their position, starting from the back of the group, with a quick gesture of her arm she cut off the skeleton's head with her scythe, leaving no time to the one on the right to react, she raised her scythe to cut off his hands followed by his head, before the noise of the bones falling on the ground sounded, she quickly bypassed the group heading to the front, while the skeletons turned their attention backwards, they could not foresee that the real danger was currently at the front, and then the last lv 1 skeleton was eliminated, there were only two Lv 2 left, both have directly loaded towards Melanie , but to bad for them she was too fast , she kicked one and the other one found his both arms cut , but that didn't stop him from loading another attack on her , Melanie quickly dodged at her right before cutting his head, meanwhile the other one got up and charged again toward her , having no time to dodge she blocked the attack with her scythe's handle , the skeleton tried to bite her hand but , but she moved away in time and hit him with the handle before cutting off his head .
Each time Melanie killed a skeleton she could see, a white light emerged from his body and it was being absorbed by her Anima , that was their souls !
It was a pleasant feeling ! Each time, she felt refreshed by absorbing souls.
