"We'll be right back. Me and Adrien have to get more food....sally ate most of them already." Maya rolled her eyes at she looked at the full slimet. "Fine, we'll wait. Take Sally with you just in case you guys need a distraction." Liam chuckled. "Good idea." Adrien huffed, picking up Sally and placing her in the jar. The then went off and out the room. Liam locked the door behind them so Mrs. Margret won't be able to come in.
"This is all crazy, isn't t?" Liam chuckled, turning over to look at me. "Nate, Are you ok?" Liam finally asked, crawling over and sitting next to me. Hot tears streamed to my face. "It's my fault isn't it...." I mumbled.
"Nate, no it's not. We all agreed to go to the forest. It's never your fault." He said. I laid my head on his shoulder. "I know your feeling guilty but I also know what you've been through." Liam mumbled. At that point I got mad. I jumped and glared at him as he looked at me confused. "NO YOU DON'T! YOU HAVEN'T HAD YOUR PARENT'S NEVER BELIEVE YOU OR DUMP YOU OF AT A HOME FOR TROUBLEMAKERS! YOU'VE NEVER HAD A DAD WHO BASICALLY CHRITISIZES YOU FOR WHAT YOU WEAR OR HOW YOU ACT. YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING OK!"
I yelled. Oh no, he's going to hate me. I full on broke down. I felt ashamed of myself. Liam didn't disserve it. I took my hands and covered my face, I couldn't stop crying.
"I-I never really had parents...They died when I was 4 and I didn't really know much about them, they where always working. All I remember was my om singing to me at night...." Liam mumbled. Now we where across from each other.
"I know I don't know a lot about you but I know enough. I know your an amazing sweet person and you're just miss-understood." Liam said, crawling to my side. I felt his hand on mine and gently pulled them off my face. I felt butterflies in my stomach but I quickly pushed that feelings away, I couldn't like Liam, it would ruin our friendship.
He then used his fingers to neatly clean my tears. His hands were so soft which was surprising from the way they normally looks. He then cupped my cheek with one hand and smiled with his eyes and everything. He looked.....attractive. Stop thinking like that.
"I'm not made you yelled at me. But don't do it again." He finally said, looking down into my eyes. I nodded, speechless. I could finally see his face better. He had cute freckles complimented his black raven hair. He looked so cute and handsome at the same time. OH MY GOD, STOP THINKING ABOUT THAT.
"What about a hug to seal it." He tilted his head, looking like a confused cute puppy. I nodded and smiled, hugging him by the neck as he did the same to my back. We pulled apart as soon as we heard a knock. Liam got up to get the door.
"Finally you guys are back." Liam laughed a little, as if nothing happened. Maya rushed in with the heavy food in her hand and dumped it on the floor and collapsed beside me. "Never again." She grumbled. I laughed and smiled at her. Should I tell her that I like Liam? I don't know if I should.
She's my friend, she'll understand. "Hey Maya, can I tell you something." I whispered to her. She looked at me. "Yeah sure." She smiled. Liam locked the door and him Adrien sat down and looked into the book more. I got up and dragged Maya to the bathroom and closed the door.
"So what is it?" Maya asked, looking at me. "I kind of like Liam." I finally said, feeling butterflies in my stomach. "Oh-" Was all she could say. I knew this would happen. "You already like Liam don't you..." I mumbled. She looked at me with disgust. "WHAT, EWW NO." She exclaimed. "It's just, my sister likes him.." She mumbled. "Oh, yeah. It's fine I guess." I mumbled, feeling tears threaten to pour. "That doesn't mean I'm not happy for you!" She squealed, pulling me into a big hug I laughed at that. "Omg, when did you find out? What happened when we where not here? Tell me everything!2 Maya exclaimed, taking my hands and jumping up and down.
"GIRLS! COME EAT ALREADY!" Adrien yelled. "This idiot." Maya grumbled, rolling her eyes.
"I can't wait for this night already." I laughed as we walked out the bathroom hand in hand.
Maya sat next to Adrien while I sat next to Liam. I looked at him and our eyes met each other. He smiled at me and those butterflies came back.
"Ok girls. let's eat." Adrien announced, causing everyone to laugh.
