The origin of the Deep Diver blocked the Strange Island from following Lu Li, but countless dangers still lurked beneath the deep sea.
For instance, a broken vessel surged with seawater, emerging from below the sea and colliding with the small wooden boat. A full moon, bathed in a cold light, rose from the deep sea, casting distorted moonlight over everything it touched. Filth oozing with pus turned the lead-gray sea into a swamp-like murk, causing the small boat to struggle. Soon after escaping the corrosive swamp, Lu Li encountered an unusual storm, with countless flames and ashes descending from the sky.
The legendary Sinking Sea also appeared as the small wooden boat drifted longer on the ocean, forming "valleys" and "waterfalls" on the sea's surface.
But it wasn't all misfortune. By sheer chance, Lu Li encountered the Andrea returning from the Main Affinity Continent, carrying residents of the Vena Underground City.
