Bonbi was attempting to pull the girl to her feet by her arm when Mel averted his gaze due to something he said. The faces of the two youths, a mere breath apart, were crimson; during the ten seconds of silence that ensued, the hue deepened, managing to blanket their entire bodies.
"My Lord, Lilo and I are merely companions!"
The words he bit his lip to utter left a faint mark in their wake. The duo barely managed to stand; leaning on each other for support, they attempted to take their first steps, but a colossal shadow materialized before them.
"If you still have not confessed to each other the next time our paths cross, I will most certainly slaughter you both!"
