When Mary Scott woke up, it was already eleven in the morning. As she struggled to get out of bed, a flood of chaotic images rushed into her head, causing her to tumble back onto the bed.
This tumble made Mary Scott even more awake, staring blankly at the ceiling.
Mia Anderson came upstairs and saw Mary was awake but lying on the bed dazed. She walked over, checked Mary's forehead with some concern, and muttered, "No fever."
Hearing the noise, Mary looked over and saw Mia, feeling a glimmer of hope, "Were you the one taking care of me after I drank last night?"
Mia shook her head, "No, it was Director Locke. Wait, Mary, you actually drank? Why did you drink? Is the thing about Director Locke true? But you still shouldn't drink..."
"Shut up!" Seeing Mia was about to continue her nagging, Mary shouted with a headache.
Mia silenced herself, but her eyes were still full of questions.
