"Whoah!" (Avery) stopped in her tracks, staring at the enormous cave entrance carved into the side of the icy mountain.
It was much bigger than she had expected. The entrance was wide enough for several wagons to pass through side by side, and thick layers of ice covered the surrounding rocks. Long icicles hung from the ceiling like enormous fangs.
Beyond the entrance was nothing but darkness.
"The big boss might be lurking around," She said, adjusting her makeshift fur cloak. "Let's be quick and careful."
Haruki nodded. "Mm. We should keep our guard up. If this is where the Ice Serpent lives, we might be close to its territory."
The two continued climbing until they finally reached the mountain's summit.
But something felt strange.
"Hmm?"
Avery looked around.
"It's not cold anymore."
