Chapter 1 - The smile

Rain makes everything honest.

It washes neon lights into blurred colors.

It hides tears.

It makes the city look softer than it really is.

Yiyii stepped out of the mini market, holding a plastic bag filled with toilet paper and instant ramen. Her oversize black hoodie clung slightly from the humidity. Short denim jeans. Combat boots splashing through shallow water.

Her phone screen glowed in her hand.

Reading BL.

She smiled faintly.

Oh dear… the Omega is pregnant.

"That must be nice," she murmured.

Across the street, the traffic light changed from red to green.

She didn't look up immediately.

She was thinking.

About unpaid bills.

About coworkers talking behind her back.

About relatives asking when she would "improve herself."

About pretending not to notice the way people judged her body.

About pretending she didn't care.

The pedestrian signal blinked.

She stepped forward.

Then—

A horn.

Loud.

Sharp.

She looked up.

Headlights flooded her vision.

Time slowed.

There it was.

A truck rushing toward her.

Any normal person would panic.

Yiyii didn't.

She stared into the light.

And for the first time in years—

She felt light.

No more expectations.

No more pretending.

No more trying to fit in.

"If this is isekai…" she whispered with a wicked smile 😊, rain sliding down her cheeks, "let it be something better."

The truck was seconds away.

Her heart didn't race.

Her hands didn't tremble.

Instead—

She smiled.

Not a hopeful smile.

Not a desperate one.

A small, crooked, almost evil smile.

"Finally."

The world turned white.

(System)

Welcome to Hell.

And in that frozen instant—

Yiyii felt frustrated.

What is this? (nani koreeeeeee)

Not isekai.

Not heaven.

Something deeper.

A demon was watching.

She closed her eyes again, pretending to fall.

Hoping it was just a dream.

But someone whispered in Japanese:

"Hey. Wake up. Don't pretend to faint."

Yiyii peeked.

(Oh damn… who is that 🤭🤏🏻✨ … a handsome demon.)

He looked like an idol.

She whispered in her heart:

"Oh my god, wake up, wake up Yiyii—"

Suddenly—

Darkness.

My body feels like it's being submerged.

By darkness.

Heavy.

Unable to move.

When she opened her eyes—

The sky above her wasn't blue.

It was burning.

Black clouds churned around a dark red moon. The ground beneath her was cracked stone, heat pulsing from below like a living heartbeat.

Chains rattled in the distance.

Screams echoed far away.

Yiyii slowly walked forward.

Her body felt light.

No blood. No wounds.

No pain.

But something was different.

"Hey… do you have a mirror?" Yiyii asked the demon escorting her.

Demon 😈: "There are no such objects at the gate. But I can create a reflective surface similar to one."

Yiyii: "Ah… alright."

The demon used magic to create a mirror-like reflection.

And suddenly—

Yiyii froze in shock.

Her eyes.

Still glowing.

Violent. Purple. Alive.

Above her head—

A broken Ring like angel

And something like devil horns…

A cracked violet ring of light.

"…This isn't a fantasy world," she muttered.

A low laugh rolled across the wasteland.

Deep.

Amused.

"Correct."

Massive gates appeared in the distance, carved with writhing figures and burning

They creaked open.

Suddenly, an army marched forward.

"Welcome back."

Yiyii panicked 😱 — her introverted personality returning.

Slowly.

"…so so soo soo— so. So this is Hell."

Inside her heart:

Hey God, is my only sin being a BL fan?

But in the distance—

She saw something that made her psycho smile return.

And somewhere beyond those gates—

Something powerful smiled back.

Because the moment she smiled—

Hell chose her.
