Elijah threw a lightning bolt to counter the stream of water as it evaporated when it touched the lightning but a decent amount still hit Elijah back but this time it didn't blast him away.
Rain on the other hand isn't doing so well, the lightning followed the water to the source in which shocked Rain to great heights as she fell to the ground charred and the smell of burnt meat filled in the air.
Elijah is terrified when the smoke cleared, he just killed someone, he is paralyzed but Gale snapped him out of his stupor and said they have to go before anyone catches them, Gale got the dead deer and jumped up the trees again, Elijah followed in a trance-like state.
Gale scanned the surrounding to make sure no one was there to witness what Elijah just did and when she notice the coast is clear, they head back straight to the village.
Elijah just followed Gale blindly and soon enough, Gale talked him out of his stupor, "Hey what you just did back there," Gale said.
"I know, I-I'm going to prison," Elijah said nervously.
"Prison? Pfft hahaha, no you won't," Gale reassured, "Just wanna say that what you did back there was amazing, you can call forth thunder, Datu is gonna be so amazed when I tell him about this," Gale added in an excited tone.
Elijah was horrified when he heard this as he immediately said, "Please don't tell anyone about this not even my friends."
"But it's your first kill, I have to report this to the elders and have them known how it happened," Gale argued.
"Can't we just keep this a secret?" Elijah pleaded.
"I'm sorry but I can't, I'll be in trouble if I don't," Gale said and went further ahead.
"Hey wait up!" Elijah shouted after Gale.
-Back to where Elijah killed the deer-
A group of three familiar men came to the scene of the crime as they heard a loud thunder came from there.
As they are scanning, they found a charred body of a girl, a pool of blood, and a trail of water nearby.
The place is clearly where the fight between Rain and Elijah happened, they quickly came to this direction when they heard thunder but didn't saw any lightning strike.
"Hey boss, I think this is Rain," The tall man said.
"Hmm? How could you tell?" The boss asked.
"Look at this boss," The tall man then presented a pendant with a bright blue gem reflecting the sunlight.
The boss thought about it for a moment and when he realized that the pendant is indeed Rain's, he quickly ordered that they would bring her with them.
They didn't see Gale and Elijah leave the scene so they thought it was a beast who killed Rain.
"We must report this if there's a thunder beast, it'll cause us massive trouble," The 3rd man said.
"Agreed, let's go, we also have to report that the tribe of wind has a miracle healer," The leader said and they left at once after claiming Rain's body.
-Tribe of Swirling Winds-
Elijah and Gale hunted a few fire breathing rabbits on the way back to the tribe and when they got back there are a lot of commotion on the target practice place where Gale left Elijah's friends.
Gale rushed to the front and she saw Kristin being restrained, "What happened, why are you restraining her Finch!" Gale shouted.
"Ah Gale, you're finally here, you see this lass under you just blasted that whole tree over there and destroyed a 2 houses," Finch replied pointing over to the damage.
Gale and Elijah then turn to look where Finch is pointing. And sure enough the top of trees are gone like they are forcefully torn off from the tree itself.
