Chapter 8 - 8: The Winds of War Begin

šŸŒŖļøĀ England Era 320

Arslan sat upon his wind-carved throne, high in the sky-bound palace of Everwhirl. The room was silent—save for the whispering breeze that always seemed to circle him, like a spirit waiting for command.

His silver-black hair shimmered beneath the light. His eyes, sharper than steel, held dominion.

"Nico," he said calmly, voice layered with quiet power. "Report. What has happened beyond our borders during my absence? Have the nations of this world surrendered to my will… or do they wish to perish?"

Nico stepped forward with a cheerful grin, her emerald eyes gleaming. "Oh, I've seen plenty, my King."

She bowed slightly and began.

"The Kingdom of Turan has rejected your will outright. They refuse to free their slaves. Their king said—and I quote—'You dare take our sovereignty and noble rights from us? You're just a boy backed by a ghost. These laws of yours will never pass. You will die a fool's death.'"

Arslan's expression didn't change. But the air in the hall grew heavier.

"Sindhura declared neutrality. Their king said, 'Bear your fangs at us, boy, and you will regret it.'"

"Turk?" Nico shrugged. "Their warlord believes he will unify the continent, not you."

"Maryam rejected you for 'betraying your people and your father.' They call you a rebel prince. A usurper of the bloodline."

Nico paused.

"And Pars… your father, King Andragoras, has sent assassins and soldiers across the world to hunt you down. But none returned."

Arslan's fingers tapped the armrest slowly.

"Lastly, Lusitania has declared holy war. Their king said, 'The unbelievers of Yaldaboath shall perish.' And your cousin—Hilmes—has allied with them. He vowed to burn our kingdom to ashes."

A low rumble echoed outside. A distant thunderclap, or perhaps the growl of a dragon.

Arslan narrowed his eyes. "Impressive. How do you know so much?"

Just then, the grand doors opened. Wind swept in.

Five powerful women entered in sequence, each cloaked in grace and strength. Their presence filled the hall like living starlight.

Erza. Kagura. Lucy. Orihime. Rangiku.

Nico smirked. "Because we were the ones who infiltrated every kingdom."

Arslan rose to his feet, smiling as the women stepped toward him. They looked older—sharper, more refined. Warriors who had blossomed into near-deities in their own right.

He embraced them all, warmth in his touch, pride in his eyes. They've grown… even more than I imagined.

His thoughts flickered for a moment—impure, curious, teasing. One more year, and they'll be considered adults. Perhaps then… He smirked quietly to himself.

But then he returned to purpose.

✦ The Winds of Revolution ✦

He looked out from his throne, gaze piercing the distant horizon.

"The time has come," he said, voice filled with purpose. "We will cleanse this world. Free the innocent. Crush the corrupt. And shatter every chain still wrapped around the necks of the oppressed."

He turned to his six loyal women, each standing proudly before him.

"You've all done more than I could have asked. I'm proud of you. But this is just the beginning. Erza, Kagura, Lucy, Orihime, Rangiku, Nico… within a year—Turan, Sindhura, and Turk must kneel before us."

His wind cloaked his shoulders like divine armor.

"I will deal with Maryam. With my father's kingdom. With Lusitania and Hilmes. I'll take on the monsters. Because I trust you to take care of the rest."

His women were silent, then nodded—each offering their response in their own way.

"Yes, my King," said Erza, fist to heart.

"Always," Kagura whispered with a gentle smile.

"You already know it," Lucy winked.

"Let's do this together," Orihime said softly.

"I'll bring you their banners," Rangiku grinned.

Nico added with fire in her voice, "Just don't finish the war too quickly without us."

They laughed, but their hearts beat with loyalty.

"Be safe," Arslan said.

They paused—surprised.

Not good luck. Not win.

Be safe.

And in that moment, they realized: Arslan had given them the easier missions not because he doubted them—but because he loved them.

"He's… so considerate…" Orihime whispered.

"He'd rather face death than risk us…" Rangiku muttered.

He turned his back, wind swirling behind him, and raised his hand.

"Go. Begin the Storm."

āš”ļøĀ England Era 320 – War Campaign: Episode 1✦ "The Lion of Turan Roars" ✦Opening Scene:

The skies above Turan are a dark gold, thick with desert winds. War drums beat in the distance. The Kingdom of Turan is vast, militaristic, and stubborn—an empire of sand and steel. Its nobles own thousands of slaves, and its people are told that power is their divine birthright.

Inside the Golden Fortress of Azarad, King Zael Turanos sits upon a lion-carved throne, his eyes blazing.

"The wind god child sends girls to fight me?"

He laughs, but it's hollow.

"Prepare the Colossus Army. I will teach him that sovereignty is not surrendered—it is taken back."

Scene 2:Ā Arrival of the Wind King's Generals

The air shimmers above the sands.

With a blinding gust, Erza, Kagura, Lucy, Orihime, Rangiku, and Nico descend upon Turan territory—six god-tier warriors, each cloaked in wind magic.

Erza: "We'll split into two squads. Lucy, Kagura, Orihime—you take the southern border. Rangiku, Nico, and I will assault the capital's outer defenses. We make them bleed, then we make them beg."

Scene 3:Ā Combat Showcase: Southern Front

As thousands of Turan soldiers charge across the dunes, Lucy summons her Celestial Spirits—each fused with wind enchantments. Virgo, Leo, and Aquarius devastate the field with gravity-defying combos.

Kagura wields her Sealed Blade of Calamity, moving so fast she creates mirror images of herself, slicing through enemy lines.

Orihime, glowing in divine blue light, uses her Sōten Healing Winds to resurrect fallen rebels—slaves and oppressed villagers joining the Wind King's cause.

Orihime: "They fight us with fear. We fight back with hope."

Scene 4:Ā Capital Breach – Night Raid

Meanwhile, Rangiku unleashes her Mistfire Magic, blending wind and ash to blind the city's watchmen.

Nico manipulates wind sound barriers to silence their steps.

Then Erza activates Storm Armory Mode—summoning wind-forged armor infused with lightning. She charges through Turan's gates like a goddess of war.

Erza: "For every chain you've forged, we break ten more."

Scene 5:Ā Turan's Trump Card – The Colossus

The earth trembles. From beneath the city rises the Colossus of Turan—a 200-foot iron golem powered by ancient slave souls. Its body is runed with cursed magic. It begins crushing buildings—slave and noble alike.

Back at Everwhirl, Arslan feels it through the wind.

Arslan (to himself): "They would sacrifice even their own to win. Then they've already lost."

He does Vanishing Step, preparing to intervene—but holds.

"No. This is their trial."

Scene 6:Ā Victory through Unity

Lucy and Orihime fuse their powers: Celestial Reversal Gale, a divine wind storm that shatters the Colossus's outer plating.

Kagura and Erza combine for the final blow—Heavenly Sword Tempest, slicing the soul core from the giant's chest.

Rangiku disperses the cursed mist with her breath magic.

Nico sends out a whisper to the slaves:

"The Wind King hears your prayers. Rise."

And they do.

Final Scene:Ā Surrender or Storm

The nobles are captured. King Zael, wounded, chained, stares defiantly at Erza.

Zael: "This is temporary. We will rise again—"

She cuts him off.

Erza: "Then you'll fall again. And again. Until you beg the wind for mercy."
