Chapter 124 - Share her burdens

Celeste blinked as a smile curled on her lips. Although the circumstances of their encounter were not one she would like to remember, she was happy she had met those two children that day. One would have died sooner than later, and there was no guarantee that the other would have lived long without protection. 

But she came to know of the reason behind the child breathing even when he had no heartbeat. It was unheard off but she also knew it wasn't impossible.

"Would the past repeat itself?" She uttered, her voice so low it as barely above a whisper. With her face lifted up, she stared into the sky. The star hung there beautifully as if what transpired earlier never happened.
