Women are naturally sensitive, and women in love even more so. Jane couldn't help but feel a mix of anxiety and doubt.
Daisy, on the other hand, was way more chill about everything. "The future's already changed, Jane! You seriously need to stop overthinking this. Wanna hear something that'll make you feel better? Your ranking's gone up—you're almost neck and neck with Gwen now!"
"…Ranking?" Jane blinked, completely lost.
Daisy grabbed her laptop, flipped it open, and pulled up a website. "Look—Super Girlfriend Power Rankings! You're trending hard! You already beat Spider-Man's main squeeze, Mary Jane, Superman's Lois, and even Doctor Strange's Rachel… keep going, girl!"
Jane rolled her eyes so hard they nearly fell out. "Oh my god, I do not want to be famous because of this. That is just… absurd."
"Heh… come on, I'm telling you, if you went full-on public, you'd be an overnight sensation! Admit it, you're smiling a little now."
Jane shook her head and turned her gaze back to the light screen outside the window. She could see the crowd of reporters aiming their cameras at her house—but she didn't care.
In the light screen, the future Jane Foster appeared far more composed. She was a scientist, after all. Even though her field was astrophysics, she'd been fighting her illness with every ounce of scientific know-how she had.
But the twist? In the end, it wasn't science that saved her—it was mythology.
Just as Jane was running out of hope, she suddenly heard a call—something mysterious, tugging at her from the beyond. That's when she decided to take a trip to Asgard.
Ever since Asgard relocated to Earth, it had blended surprisingly well with the local culture—and business was booming.
Even King Valkyrie had ditched her old battle armor for a tailored suit and now personally starred in ads to raise revenue for Asgard. Tourism, in particular, was killing it.
When Jane arrived in New Asgard, she caught a local play. The performance? The death of the former All-Father, Odin.
And honestly? The actors playing Thor and Loki weren't half bad. But then came the big twist—Hela showed up on stage… played by a plus-sized actress.
Both the characters onscreen and the audience watching outside burst into laughter. After all, they had seen the real Hela before—brutal and evil, yes—but drop-dead gorgeous.
No doubt, the play was clearly dragging Hela's rep through the mud for laughs.
After the performance, Jane took a detour to see the remains of Mjölnir—the mighty hammer crushed by Hela. It was shattered into fragments, but even those were impossibly heavy for ordinary folks to lift.
Watching this, Thor—on the other side of the screen—looked deeply conflicted. His beloved hammer, destroyed and broken into pieces… could it even be fixed?
The video didn't offer answers just yet. The scene cut away to Thor using the Bifrost to arrive at a remote location, where Valkyrie was stationed.
Unfortunately, the battle was already over.
Sif was barely clinging to life, one arm gone—but alive.
She told Thor she had tracked a creature called the God Butcher—but fell into his trap and was defeated. She also learned his next target: New Asgard.
The golden halls of old Asgard were long gone. In their place stood a peaceful town on Earth, thriving in its own quiet way. But now, danger loomed over its horizon.
In the shadows, the town looked like something out of a fairy tale—beautiful but vulnerable. And within those shadows, a cloaked figure holding a sword slowly approached.
That figure was Gorr, the God Butcher. He gazed coldly at the peaceful town below, then stabbed the Necrosword into the ground.
Immediately, a sea of black shadow surged forward like a monstrous tide, crashing toward the town.
From the darkness, spider-like shadow creatures began to crawl forth, unleashing chaos and destruction.
But this wasn't just any town. This was Asgard.
Valkyrie descended from the sky on her winged steed, spear at the ready. At the same time, a brilliant rainbow beam cut through the night—Thor had arrived. And this time, he was on time.
Gorr, watching from afar, spotted the Bifrost and smiled. Not a nice smile. One of those smiles.
Off-screen, Deadpool stood watching, hands on hips. "Aww crap, big guy! You got played like a fiddle. Gorr's not after the town. He's after you. Or more specifically… that big ol' axe you've been lugging around!"
Thor groaned. "Yes, I know. Can you shut up and just watch?"
Deadpool struck a smug pose. "Whoa, whoa, no need to get all thunder and tantrums on me. Just saying—if it weren't for my brains, you'd still be scratching your golden locks wondering why the sky's getting darker. Also, real talk, you and the horse lady—what's going on there? Little romantic lightning strikes, maybe?"
"Enough! I swear, I'm gonna rip your disgusting mouth off your face!" Thor's face was beet red.
Deadpool gasped in mock fear. "Whoa! Touched a nerve, huh, Sparky? You mad? You mad! Thor's getting real defensive over his little love square!"
If Thor had any way to fight back, he'd have gladly endured electric shocks just to pummel the merc with a mouth. But unfortunately, he couldn't.
The energy beams locked them in place, and in the Eternal Space, Thor's powers were completely sealed. He was just a regular guy here. And honestly? Deadpool might actually beat him in a fistfight. Especially with that endlessly running mouth of his.
So Thor just gritted his teeth, ignored Wade as best he could, and focused back on the screen.
Onscreen, Thor and Valkyrie had teamed up, fighting off the filthy, monstrous shadow creatures. Their teamwork was solid—but the monsters kept coming.
Suddenly, Thor froze.
He felt something.
Lightning crackled across the sky and blasted a swarm of creatures to pieces. Cheers erupted from all around.
And then, Thor saw it—his hammer. Mjölnir, wrapped in thunder, whizzing past in a glorious arc.
He was stunned. Then ecstatic.
"Hey! Mjölnir! It's me, buddy! Come to papa!" he shouted, grinning ear to ear as the hammer slammed a massive beast into the ground.
He held out his hand, eyes sparkling. "Mjölnir!"
His precious hammer—shattered but whole again—was back. Cracks covered its surface, but he didn't care. He loved that hammer like family.
But just as Thor was about to grab it, Mjölnir suddenly veered away—and flew straight into the hands of an armored woman.
She looked like she walked straight out of a thunderstorm—like him. A full-on female Thor.
Thor froze, completely stunned, watching as she spun the hammer in a familiar motion—and launched it just like he used to.
Was he… just NTR'd by his own hammer?
