As Rex was not relaxing, the Shadow King and Queen were both asleep. The Royal Knights had enjoyed themselves who were still in their rooms.
As the final Royal Knight who was not in his room asked his maids to check on Rex. This was to ensure that he was relaxed and still doing good.
As they entered, Rex immediately locked eyes with the duo. They nodded as they entered. The second one closed the door. The first checked Rex's temperature by placing her palm on his forehead.
As she checked, she also could tell that his Qi was not calming as it should have been. She began to soothe the veins with a cooling technique.
This surprised Rex but he could feel the deprived sleep catching up to him immediately. Before he noticed, the two maids had already left causing him to already be asleep.
The duo told the Royal Knight that they had to use the cooling technique to ensure that his Qi was indeed cooled off from the fight.
"Seems like whatever caused him to go berserk had to do with the Queen. Hopefully, the future that the King wishes still comes to us. As of now, I am sure that he will reject everything." The Royal Knight spoke.
He made sure to try and make anything he could as a peace offering to at least keep his calm as the poison should have already left his system.
He could not find anything. His hopes quickly vanished as he hoped to do anything. The only thing he could do was hope that he could get some materials outside before the King could fully leave and make him something.
The night passed slowly as the trio outside made sure that Rex slept peacefully throughout the night. The morning came and the Royal Knight wanted to talk to the King and Queen.
"Your Majesties, the King and Queen. May I enter the Chamber?" He asked through the door.
"Enter." The King answered.
The Royal Knight entered and saw the King and Queen gently looking at him. Their eyes showing the purest sincerity.
"My maids had to use the cooling technique of the Sert World to calm Lord Rex down." He spoke first.
This made the Queen upset so visibly that even the King could not help but hug his Queen. This also made the Royal Knight know that they had also talked about the situation.
"What are we planning to do now?" The Royal Knight asked.
"We will teach his women that technique. Secondly, we will explain why that happened." The Queen spoke up.
She had to make amends before Rex did anything truly upsetting. The King had a feeling while talking with the Royal Knight that Rex either already knew or had pieced together enough to be able to handle the reasoning.
Suddenly, Rex knocked on the door. They did not think that he would be awake right now. He got permission to enter.
"Good morning." The King spoke to him.
"Good morning." The Royal Knight spoke next.
"Lord Rex, good morning. Can I speak with you privately?" She asked.
She figured that he would not after what had happened yesterday.
"If it is because of the poison. Then I have to refuse. This will be discussed between us here. If you need anyone else, then we can just make it a public talk if you wish." Rex responded.
She was upset. The King hoping for the best. The Royal Knight already had the worst of playthroughs in his mind.
As the Queen felt that the others did need to know. Rex allowed them to gather everyone in a single spot to explain what the future was going to be.
The group met up after breakfast. When everyone sat down. Rex began to speak first explaining that he had a hard time calming down and due to this his senses spread over the seal. He had heard everything. He wanted to apologize for this.
He knew that somethings deserved to be private. This was very shameful to some of the women. The men also felt a slight irritation due to this but could not help it.
"I am sorry for that you all. I had given him a kiss with the poison to see the loved ones. Although it is usually a low tier poison for most people. It was highly effective against him. I did not think that it was going to be that effective. I figured it would have a slighter effect on him, not the effect that we truly saw.
However, this means that those poisons similar to this would also cause him to go berserk in some cases. We need to ensure that no matter what happens in the future.
We have to help you Rex. Even the diluted version of the poison caused you to go berserk, a non-diluted version would cause destruction of the highest order." She explained.
Hearing that the poison that she used was diluted, this caused them to fear of whatever would happen to a higher dosage or even the true poison concoction.
"Alright. What other poisons should we be worried about?" Rex asked.
"Currently for you specifically, the other eleven poisons similar to this one need to be used on you so that you can control yourself.
The problem lies with each variance of the poison. Each one does something different. The one I used is supposed to make you see them in slight pain from an injury. You probably saw them being butchered with how effective the poison worked on you." She spoke her thoughts.
Although they were not physically being chopped up. They had still died while he was weak. He could not afford to relax like that.
He did explain what he saw while poisoned. Since the Queen was still close enough to be right. It was still a very hard way to effectively combat the poisons.
"Either we have to continously poison you. So that you either become completely immune to the poison or we have find a way to combat the poison itself and hope that it works for Rex." The Queen spoke up.
This caused a major heartfelt pain through all of them. Having to deal with Rex even on a diluted poison was hard enough while even having to think of the full concoction.
