Chapter 997 - Chapter 994 Fighting for Survival

Where the visions were at first nothing but nightmares from the poison. It was now able to be fighting dreams. He could fight back better and stronger. He was still struggling to be able to fight strongly.

He began to hear whispers of his name from all of his women. His heart burned with a fury no mortal should have.

He felt it inside his Qi, his bones roaring with great stance, his muscles ready to unlease devastating punches and kicks, but he could not bear to bring himself to actually start.

It was not that he was trying to be a coward or that he was paralyzed with fear. He was simply trying to be a better man at this point.

This was not for protecting his women currently. He knew that they could and would protect each other no matter how much they fought currently or hate certain aspects of another.

This was for him to be able to cultivate and not get affected by the poison in the future. His fight was not external but internal and using everything he had to keep himself calm and ready for any poison that would affect him in similar situations.

He began to realize that the poison would not affect him the same way every time. He had to cultivate to ensure that none of the poison would indeed become dangerous as he fought on the battlefield in the future.

The dawn of the next day came quickly and he had cultivated while sweating all night just seeing the visions of what would happen.

As he opened his eyes, he found all of his women close to him giving him warmth and security has he had cultivated with the visions that night.

He was proud of his women. It was never a matter if they could fight, if they could be safe with him close by, and it was never for the fact that he knew deep down that each of them needed a safe place to be at.

It was a matter if they could truly be at peace with each other. Right here in front of them, they had sat aside differences and casually wrapped around him like he was little boy who needed extra love in his life.

He was proud of the fact that they were so good together now that he wanted to cry in pure happiness. That was short lived as they began waking up and claiming that they were the ones who brought him back safely.

He laughed as they truly brought joy into his life. He was for sure that no matter what. They would always be safe and sound around him and that he would ensure that properly.

"Everyonr thank you for helping through the poison. Without each of you helping me, I would not have made it through. So for now, let us bring in breakfast and have a good laugh as well." Rex told them.

He went to ring a bell and three maids were already inside the room where they were staying at. They bowed and responded kindly when Rex told them to bring breakfast.

The others watched has they went and started on their breakfast. Rex began to explain why those poisons worked so well against him.

The women listened closely to each version of themselves as they were either being killed or beaten so badly that death seemed like a good way out.

They listened as he tried to fight with all of his might. No matter how strongly he fought. He could not physically match the Shadow People in those visions.

They began to understand why the poison was so effective against him. It was not that they themselves were weak. The way they interacted with each breaking bonds that should have been fixed.

They listened carefully as he told them about the true meaning behind his actions through the Realms. Part of it was through the system to gain strength, part of it was his selfishness to be stronger or to have the best life he could with the women he had.

This shocked them all. They never knew why he was always so running around and most of the time gathering women. Now, that they truly understood. They wanted nothing more than to bless him with children who would love each other as they love him.
