it all starts off as a normal day, my friend and I walking home from school laughing at some of the jokes we made. But right there on a normal day like any other the sky suddenly rips open, and it turns a deep red as beast emerge from the rip in the sky. I was so scared I couldn't move, sweat started to go down my face slowly as my breathing started to go faster and faster. People start running past as fast as they can screaming in terror. My friend Alex suddenly grabs my shoulders and start screaming my name.
" Kane, Kane, KANE, come on we have to go"
" B-but Alex its red t-the sky"
I tried my best to say something to him, but my voice was so shaky from how terrified I was I just kept on stuttering. After I said that he grabbed my hand.
" Come on Kane we have to get going let's go hurry up"
"B-but where to"
"I don't know yet, but some are safer then out here"
"Yeah y-your right"
We start running as fast as we can holding on to each other's hands tightly not wanting to lose one another. As we start running, we started to catch up to a group of people. But before we could a one of the beasts suddenly falls from the sky.
As the beast landed the ground cracked beneath its feet. Then as it slowly stands up, and as it did wings slowly emerged from the back of the beast. The beast was towering over us. As I gazed upon this beast I seen blood dripping from his mouth, horns coming from its head, black fur covering its body, and its hands soaked in blood.
I was terrified of this beast all I could do was stand there. I could feel my legs giving out beneath me. I for sure thought I was going to die.
"HHHHAAAA GET OUT OF OUR WAY"!
Alex scream that at the top of his lungs charging at the beast raising his fist getting ready to strike it. But before he could even get close the beast raised its hand and swung down on him. Sending Alex straightens me we both went flying into a nearby gas station. Breaking through the front doors crashing into the shelves. As my back smacks against the wall felt like my spine snapped.
"aaaa gasping"
As I try my best to gasp for air, I could feel pain all over my body. my back is pressed up against the wall as blood is dripping from my face, my lower half is covered in debris which is not letting me get up. While I sat there, I heard bits and pieces of the building crumbling off hitting the ground and my ears pounding with pain. But I hear this faint whisper coming from Alex.
"k-kane"
Alex whispered with such a weak voice. I looked over my right shoulder and there he was. As I look at Alex laying on his stomach in a pool of blood oozing from a wound on the side of his stomach. He was trying his best to look at me but there was blood all over his face. as he laid there, he slowly reached out his hand to me. So, I did the same I reach my hand to him, but as I do the beast starts to come our way. It crashes through the wall with every step it gets closer and closer. Me and Alex are trying to reach for each other, but it was too late the monster is already standing right above us. The beast staring us down so intensely. Well, as it does it raises its arm and gives a mighty roar staring directly at me.
"RRRRROOOOO"
I felt my heart dropped so far in my chest while my eyes slowly open wide. I could feel me pissing myself and all of my hair stand's up at ones, with goosebumps all over my body. I was so terrified I couldn't even speak a word all I can do is scream in my own head.
" No No I don't want to die please no stop stop"
I felt so pathetic I couldn't even say those words out loud all I could do was sit there until death came for me. But the beast stopped right before hitting me inches away from my face.
"Hey, you piece of shit"
Alex tried his best to say that with a stern voice saying that to the beast.
"Yeah, I'm talking to you get away from him"
I looked over at Alex I seen tears running down his face and snot coming out of his nose as terror is written all over his face. But he still had the courage to stand up to this beast that was standing before us.
Right there as I'm looking at Alex the beast grabs him in one hand squeezing his chest tight. Alex was screaming in pain but while he was, he said something to me.
"AAAAAAAASAAHH DON'T GIVE UP FIGHT ON KA-"
But before Alex could finish this sentence the beast crushed hiss weak body between its hand. At that moment I felt fear, sadness and anger take control over my body I have never felt that before. As I felt that I see a green light illuminating from my right hand. I couldn't tell what it was but it didn't matter I was going to die either way. So I tried doing something Alex would have done. I raised my right hand at the beast, all of the power I had left in my body.
"GO FUCKING DIE"
As I scream that at the beast, I started to lose consciousness but the light on my hand starts to glow even brighter. I can't tell what really happened at that moment. But I see something spike through the ground what looks like roots, and it stop the beast in its tracks. As that happened, I lost consciousness, and I passed out right there in that gas station all alone.
