I decided to get my body stronger, then I'll work on learning more about my power. So, I stayed inside most of the time and I worked out. Building my strength, stamina, and speed. It took me a couple weeks to build some muscle, as I was working out, I noticed I needed more food in my body to build more muscle. So, I decided to go back outside and to search for more food.
"I guess I can go to the rest of the house on the block right kitten". I said to the cat while getting ready to go outside.
Well, I was walking to the front door. I made the roots move so me and the cat could go past, then after we were out, I moved the roots back to cover the door.
"Ok we should head to a house we haven't searched at," I said, looking around for a house that had some structure.
"Meow" the kitten answered me back.
So, we started walking down the road searching a few houses close by. As we search the houses, we only found a couple weeks' worth of food from the first three houses.
"I guess we should head to the nearby gas station to see if there's any supplies there". I said pointing in the direction of the gas station.
So, we headed in the direction to the gas station. It took us about 10 minutes to get there. When me and the cat arrived, I noticed that the gas station looked pretty run down. All of the windows were smashed and one of the walls had a huge hole in it looking like something rand straight through it.
"We should be careful going in here, stay by me ok". I said to the cat as we slowly walked into the gas station.
There was a lot of Glass on the floor, so I picked the cat up and put it on my shoulders and walked in slowly. The floor was covered in broken debris in glass and there are only a few dead bodies rotting inside. There was still some food on the shelves, so I quickly put them in the duffel bag. Then I started heading to the back of the store.
"Hisssss". The cat suddenly hissed, jumping off my shoulders facing towards the back of the store.
As it did, I got into my stance. Putting my left foot in front of me with my right foot behind bending my knee slightly and raising my hands to my face.
"Get back kitten". I said to the cat as I was getting ready.
As I said those words a beast crawling on all fours with a skinny lengthy body came out of the back door. The beast had a smile going ear to ear with sharp fangs for teeth as blood and saliva dripped off it. Its eyes were beating red staring directly at me; it felt like it was staring into my soul.
"AAAAARRRRY". The beast let out a terrifying screech hurting my ears as it did.
I quickly summon roots to pierce the beast. Right as the roots popped out of the ground the beast quickly jumped out of the way. As the beast jumped it came right at me, pending me down to the ground trying to bite my head off. I quickly grabbed its face before it could bite me, but its strength was overwhelming. The drool and blood coming from its mouth was dripping on my face as it was getting closer to me.
"Hisssss" the cat suddenly jumped onto the beast biting its neck.
"AAARRY". The beast screamed in pain.
As the beast screamed it raised one of his arms grabbing the kitten. But the kitten wasn't letting go so the beast dug its claws in the kitten. As it did the kitten let go of its neck and the beast tossed it, slamming it against the wall.
"You bastard, roots come forth and kill this beast" I said to the beast while holding its face.
As I said those commands to root shot out of both of my hands piercing the beast head. The beast fell on top of me it wasn't breathing nor was it moving, it was dead.
"KITTEN". I yelled while running to the kitten.
As I got to the kitten, I saw it had big wounds all on his stomach. So, I quickly grabbed out the healing liquid and dumped it all on the cat. As I did, I picked a cat up and started walking out of the gas station.
"We have enough food, it's time for us to go home". I said that while walking out of the gas station with the cat in my arms.
When I got out of the gas station, I felt the ground starting to shake. And the sky starts churning a deep red again
"Shit" I said while looking up at the sky watching it churning a deep red.
As I started running towards the house, I looked behind me and I saw a rip forming in the sky.
"Fuck again" I said while running full speed back to the house.
I started running full speed back to the house, not looking back. I was just about a minute out to the house, but before I could get there a beast landed right in front of me.
"It's just one I can handle it," I said to myself, staring at this beast.
It was the same type of beast that killed Alex. As I was about to summon the roots to kill it two more beasts landed right beside me.
"Shit" I said, backing away from the beast.
But as I was backing away something behind me made the ground shake.
"Boom" the ground shake as another beast land behind me.
I quickly looked back and it was one of the titans. But this time it only had one pair of arms and one pair of eyes, but it did have little horns. The titan's body wasn't as pill either and the hair was short. But it was still just as tall as the last one.
"Fuking shit, now what do I do I can't run back to the house they would just destroy it". I thought to myself quickly as the beast started to look my way.
"Meow". the cat said to me.
"Your right kitten, I have to defeat them here or else we're dead" I said to the cat as I got ready for this fight.
