"Yes," sighed Charles, "the Earth Sea is truly too dangerous. We are no different from ants in their presence, and the only reason we're temporarily safe is that they just don't feel like moving. If they wanted to do something, we couldn't resist at all."
Anna hung her head and bit her lip gently, "Exactly! This damn place isn't fit for humans! So, you agree with me?"
Charles didn't speak; he imagined in his mind two god-like beings covered in tentacles emerging from the ocean surface, portending the end of the world.
He slowly closed his eyes, embraced Anna's slender waist, and turned over, "Let's sleep on it; I need to think this through some more."
A trace of irritation flickered in Anna's eyes but vanished quickly.
