Chapter 16 - Re: That Time My Mother Got Turned into a Monster! – Chapter Fifteen

Dr. Walker dances around in a circle as if she were a young schoolgirl again. As if she were experiencing some type of erotic satisfaction, Dr. Walker's eyes were dilated as if she were experiencing something similar. The look on Dr. Walker's face was one of pure ecstasy as if all her dreams had come true at that very moment. She stared at the machine with pure lust and pleasure, a hungry glint in her eyes as she watched the tubes and pipes slowly turn in rhythm with each other. Her lips were parted ever so slightly, a soft moan escaping them as she reached out and touched the machine, her hand slowly caressing it like a lover. The sight was both intriguing and disturbing, and I wondered how she could feel such joy at something that was causing me so much pain.

Despite my agonizing pain, my eyes are drawn to her lips, which are slightly parted, revealing sharp teeth that remind me of a predator, and my heart begins to pound in my chest. It is clear to me that she is experiencing something utterly unlike anything I have ever witnessed before, something... sublime. I noticed a flush spread across her cheeks, her breaths becoming short and shallow. She was almost like another person, filled with a raw and intense pleasure that bordered on the obscene. As I looked upon her, unable to comprehend what I was seeing, she seemed to notice my gaze and turned away, her face flushed with heat. I felt something tingle within my own body, the sensation both exciting and alien.

It was as if completing my Exorcist weapon had given her a rush of euphoria, her emotions overwhelming her sense of reason. Her lips were parted in what could only be called a seductive expression, her eyes focused on something invisible but causing her explicit pleasure. Seeing someone so composed and methodically displaying such raw emotions was a surreal and slightly unsettling sight.

Again, the hammer slammed down over and over into the forge, but each impact was more violent than the last, the ground before our feet shaking and threatening to break apart at any moment. The noise is deafening, and the sheer force of the hammers sends my entire body trembling, as if a hurricane is buffeting me. The pressure is so intense that it feels like the world is about to end. I cover my ears and duck my head, praying for the noise and destruction to stop. But the hammering and shaking continue, and I feel my sanity slipping away.

The ground is trembling beneath the force of the strikes, the loud thunderous blows sending a shockwave through the room. It is difficult to remain standing, the earth vibrating like a trembling leaf. The machine makes a loud, piercing sound so loud that it makes my ears ring. I cover my ears, trying to escape the onslaught of violence, but it seems impossible to escape the deafening roar.

This time, the duration of the shaking is much longer. The room feels as if it may fall apart at any moment, with bricks falling from the roof and the walls cracking under the pressure. The machine begins shaking violently as if it will explode, destroying the laboratory and all of us with it. There was no way the city was not experiencing an earthquake. The vibrations increased to such a magnitude that the ground beneath us felt as if it would give way, throwing us all to our deaths. The noise was deafening, and the room began to fill with smoke and soot. Dr. Walker continues her work despite the danger; her relentless determination to succeed in her experiment causes her to ignore the potential threats to our safety.

The sound of the machine is all I hear now, its high-pitched whine permeating everything around me. The grinding of metal and screech of gears echo through the room, the noise growing louder and more unbearable with each passing second. It feels like the world is ending, the machine's incessant screeching filling the air and driving me to the brink of insanity. My ears begin to hurt, the din so loud that I cannot hear my own thoughts. I feel like I am going crazy, the stress and pain becoming too much to bear. My hands tremble as I cling to the table for support. It feels like I am trapped in a neverending earthquake, the earth beneath my feet about to split apart at any moment. I feel helpless, unable to do anything but wait for this madness to end.

Abruptly, all goes dark, and the world falls silent. The silence is unnerving, a deep stillness that weighs on my mind and fills me with apprehension. An almost painful tension hung in the air; the world is still and quiet in an eerie way. I take a deep breath, trying to settle my nerves and convince myself I was only imagining things. After all, this is just a weapons creation ceremony; it can't be dangerous or anything like that. But as the minutes pass and the silence continues, I can't help but wonder if I'd died somehow. The silence is complete and utter, the darkness all-encompassing. I feel a chill run down my spine as a sense of dread grows within me. I can feel something is wrong, but I don't know what. I am more afraid than I have ever been in my entire life.

I close my eyes, trying to block out the oppressive darkness. I can feel my heartbeat pounding in my chest, my breath coming in shallow gasps. The silence is broken only by my breathing, each breath sounding like a thunderclap in my ears. I cannot move; my body is paralyzed with fear. The thought that this might be my last moment alive causes my already racing heart to pound even faster. Then, without warning, a loud click! The machine shuts off, leaving me alone in the darkness. The silence is deafening, a stark contrast to the constant noises of the tremendous technological device. It fills me with a deep sense of dread, a feeling that something terrible will happen.

I reach out, a sense of dread washing over me as I struggle to make sense of what's going on. Slowly, the sound of my breathing fills my ears, growing louder as the reality of the situation sinks in. I feel small, vulnerable, and afraid as I strain to hear anything, even a whisper, that would give me some clue about what might happen. The darkness is suffocating, the silence so absolute that even my breathing is a distraction. I feel trapped, alone, and helpless. The fear that overtakes me makes my heart race faster and faster. I feel a growing sense of panic as I realize that I am stuck in the darkness, the machine which had been making me feel so much pain now seemingly gone. I struggle to stay calm, my breathing becoming increasingly erratic as I try to come to grips with my current situation.

Suddenly, light breaks through the darkness, casting long shadows in a world where nothing makes sense anymore. Something has gone wrong, and the only thing to do is to try to make sense of it. I blink frantically, my eyes struggling to adjust to the light. As the darkness fades, I begin to make out figures in the shadows. They move with purpose, their forms blurred by the fog of confusion and fear that clouds my mind. It's clear to me now that something is amiss; however, I don't completely understand what that something is. I blink rapidly to adjust my vision against the sudden glare of the light, a sense of relief washing over me as the shadows recede and my surroundings come into focus. But at that moment, a horrifying realization dawned on me; a reality worse than I could have imagined. The machine has malfunctioned, creating a disaster far worse than if nothing happened at all.

In the blink of an eye, time seems to pass for what feels like an eternity until one shocking moment occurs. A white neverending blinding light floods the entire laboratory, and a torrent of air swirls around like a tornado, sending everything flying. The machine screams and howls, its deafening noise reverberating through the room. I am knocked off balance, my body thrown about like a rag doll in a swirling storm. The air is sucked out of my lungs as if trapped in a vortex. The machine continues its loud, shrieking cry, drowning out everything else as its gears grind and turn. Everything happens so quickly it's hard to process. The lights shine so brightly they hurt my eyes, and the sound of the machine is loud, my ears ringing painfully. I shield my eyes from the light and duck as debris flies past me, wondering again how this could have happened.

I cover my ears, protecting myself from the loud blast threatening to rip me apart. The wind rips through the lab, sending papers and equipment flying everywhere. I hold tight, trying to stay upright as the powerful winds threaten to knock me off my feet. Things are being tossed about with alarming intensity, threatening to knock me down or blow me away completely. The machine roars and shrieks, its noises drowned out by the fierce wind and the violent sound of destruction. I keep my eyes closed, trying my best to remain grounded despite the madness around me. The storm of air and dust makes it difficult to breathe, causing me to cough and choke. I found it hard to hold my consciousness together. Out of the thundering noise, I hear a voice.
