Space distorted around Wolfgango and I as our weapons and those of our respective angels clashed.
Aventine gasped and glanced at Wolfgango. "We need to be careful. If we keep fighting like this, a rift might open up."
A rift? To what or where?
Wolfgango jumped back and huffed. "If only Lady Raiyama were still alive. She could've created a pocket dimension for us to fight in."
"Good thing this domain is up," Palatine said, staring at my dome of shadow. "If not, the entire castle would've come tumbling down by now."
I took a moment to breathe, trying to center myself amidst the chaos. "We can't let this escalate any further," I said as I formed several shadowy chains from the ripples in the domain. "Chains of Heaven's Night!"
