Yukihina PoV
I pushed my purple hair back and pulled out a crystal queen chess piece from the pocket of my uniform as I sat on an old stomp in a forest not too far from where I had my meeting with Amelia and her knight.
"Sir," I whispered, channeling my ice mana into the chess piece. It was a construct that Setsugen's made using one of his angel tool's special abilities to make communication easier.
The crystal glimmered faintly as the energy flowed through it. A moment later, the piece began to vibrate.
"Yukihina, report," Setsugen muttered, his voice aloof. "How did the meeting with Amelia go?"
I took a steadying breath, knowing I had to choose my words carefully. "Amelia did not take the bait."
He snickered. "That so? Guess she isn't as naive as the rumors said, but then again, she is the daughter of the late Queen Serena. Her mother must've given the young Amelia some advice in the short five years they spent together."
