My eyes twitched as the sun rose. I blinked slowly, expecting Sir Eiro to be gone. But he wasn't. He was still there, sleeping peacefully beside me, my head resting on his strong chest. He looked so different when he slept. More cute.
My fingers traced his jawline. He had a face that was both handsome and cute. When awake, his handsomeness came out. When asleep, his cuteness.
I felt something poke between my legs. He got excited so easily at my touch. If he wasn't out on the battlefield or training so much, or busy ruling, we probably would have a larger family.
I sighed. He'd probably be up soon. And he'd want to go train again. I'd let him. He was right. We couldn't afford to be idle. The Abyss was coming. And I had to be ready too.
