Eiro/Eizan PoV
After leaving Kira, I went to check in on the kids. To my surprise, they weren't in their play room. Were they still asleep?
As I walked toward Kina's room and saw her messy bed. Did she go ahead to her brother's room? I hummed and walked over. His room was also empty.
Where were they? The garden maybe? Or the library? Or maybe even the training room?
I sighed. I guess I shouldn't be so worried, but with the threats... I couldn't help it.
"Eijiro! Kina! Breakfast!" I yelled.
No answer. I frowned and went straight to the library. They weren't there either. I went to the training room and saw them. Eijiro was swinging his shepherd's crook around while Kina sat nearby, drawing in a sketchbook.
I watched him for a moment, a sense of pride swelling in my chest. He was a natural, his movements fluid, even if still a little messy. But he was also a child, and he should be playing, not training for a war that was yet to come.
"Eijiro," I said, my voice firm.
