"Begin!"
For a moment, the Resistance army vanished, replaced by a blinding sea of golden light.
Every soldier erupted into radiance, their forms merging with the brilliance above.
The sun itself seemed to answer their call, flaring brighter as their light intensified. Heat rippled through the air, and members of the Will Guard had to shield their eyes, their armor glowing white-hot.
Then, as one, the ocean of light surged forward in a singular beam of light that ripped across the land. The ground turned to glass in their wake; the air torn apart to make way.
But amidst the incoming devastation, the Sentinels didn't even blink. Their masked faces stayed still.
"Step forward," the second Sentinel ordered.
Two soldiers obeyed, walking out from the Will Guard's ranks to stand before the Sentinels.
"Do it," the taller Sentinel said.
The two hesitated only a moment before removing their cloaks.
