"Haaa... Haaa..." Breathing is difficult. It seems I won't make it home. At least I found a secluded spot away from that alley. The arrow continues to slowly penetrate deeper while the stand in front of me falls apart into pieces with a pink glow.
I'm fed up with sitting here among the trash bins as if I were some stray dog; it's time to let the arrow reach my heart while no one is around. Lowering my hand, I allowed it to bypass all obstacles and reach my heart - "Gh..." - I rasped, tasting blood in my mouth. The pain was so unbearable that my consciousness quickly faded, freeing me, albeit temporarily, from the pain.
Some time later
I woke up abruptly, as if from a nightmare. With a slight dizziness, I got to my feet covered in blood - "I definitely need a shower," I sighed.
"It seems I didn't sleep long" - looking at the night sky, I concluded that I probably slept no more than an hour since the moon hadn't moved much. Good, I didn't lose much time.
I didn't want to think about how long I had slept; all my attention was now on the new ability. Luckily, I didn't have to guess which new stand power I had acquired, as I had already inadvertently used a small part of it during the fever - King Crimson! - And there it was, in front of me, Diavolo's stand with the ability to erase time, and Epitaph, capable of seeing what will happen in the next ten seconds. Such a significant power boost! Incredible!
Pleased and bloodied, I went home, naturally over the rooftops. Despite my weakness, it wasn't difficult to get there, though it wasn't very noticeable. I immediately took a hot shower to wash off my own dried blood.
"Now I'm stronger than many..." I whispered under the water streams, leaning against the wall and already making further plans - "Few can even comprehend this ability, let alone oppose it. Now I need to find the other arrows; there aren't many left, I can feel it - as soon as I acquired King Crimson, I felt a strange connection. As if something is calling me. It seems gaining a new ability has strengthened my connection to the arrows. By my senses, not many are left. Three... no, two. That's clearly not enough for me. There must be another way to gain abilities, I just need to find out how. Maybe it's the parts of the holy corpse, but I've heard nothing about it. At least in this universe.
"I'll think about this tomorrow morning, now I need rest," I relaxedly sighed, falling onto the bed already clean - "How tired I am..."
Meanwhile | Hospital
"She's in stable condition," said the doctor, adjusting his glasses - "She literally survived by a miracle."
Releasing a relieved sigh, Peter in costume abruptly grabbed the doctor by the shoulders, causing him to flinch in surprise - "Thank you!"
The man in the coat just weakly smiled - "If it weren't for you, she definitely would have parted with life. We all did our best."
Spider-Man just weakly nodded, lost in his thoughts. The boy's mind was filled with one question: why was Felicia with that man and why she had the arrow for him. Who needed it and why? Although such incidents were not uncommon in New York, this particular case made his spider-sense buzz, warning him of something not good.
"Alright, I should probably go," the man yawned, saying goodbye - "Good luck, kid."
"Sweet dreams!" - Peter waved, finding himself alone in the corridor the next second.
"Haaa..." - the boy sighed, leaning back against the wall - "Another minute and I wouldn't have made it..." - Spider-Man whispered, looking at the ceiling. Thanks to his web, he managed to stop the bleeding and get Felicia to the hospital. Of course, he had to remove her mask and a few other things so she wouldn't be recognized as the famous thief.
Felicia's mother still needed to be informed about her daughter's injury. Peter didn't know how he could look into that woman's eyes, knowing he couldn't save her daughter. He was definitely lucky today.
"We need to find out about all this..." - the boy said, and the lenses on his mask dangerously narrowed - "Or more people will get hurt."
Sanctum Sanctorum
"Aren't you going to bed?" - asked a stocky man of obviously Asian appearance, entering the room to the Sorcerer Supreme. Scanning the room, Wong saw Strange sitting in a chair, reading a book and stretching out a cup of tea. The walls were lined with bookshelves, indicating the owner's love for reading. Candles on the table created a cozy atmosphere, which involuntarily made you relax - "Definitely not yet."
"Then, goodnight," - turning around, Wong yawned, closing the door and heading to his room downstairs, looking forward to a good sleep.
"It seems I can forget about sleep tonigh>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> what the..." - Strange asked himself, staring into the void. The cup, which had just had a little tea left, was now empty and stood on the table next to him - "I don't remember finishing it..." - the man muttered, standing up from the chair, closing the book, and placing it next to the cup. This was a new feeling for him, so he couldn't describe it clearly.
As a magician, and not just any but the Sorcerer Supreme with the Time Stone, his connection to time was very strong, which is why he literally felt something invade this mighty stream and erase a whole segment from it. The mage didn't know who, how, and where this was done; he knew no spell, no creature capable of such, so even such a powerful person was in confusion and clear concern.
Suddenly, distinct footsteps were heard outside his room, and then the door was flung open, revealing a slightly sweaty Wong - "Did you feel that?"
"Yes..." - Strange stretched the word, turning his gaze to the concerned Wong - "Someone erased time itself."
