"What's the point of this?" Banshee asked
"Before you join the army, you always get a medical check up, think of this as the same thing except you still join because we will fix you up nicely" David explained calmly
"This feels wrong" Wolverine said as he underwent the procedure
"Just step in and step out, this is not the time to let your age show"
"Watch your tongue bub, or I'll gut you like a fish"
"Try as you might" David replied as he used telekinesis to push him out of the scanner.
David neither had the time nor energy to deal with such stupid play with the over 200 year old beast. He performed the scan on every single one of them including the reluctant sunfire. The test results were all surprisingly good though
"You are all clean and now officially certified for combat, I'll show you all around and tomorrow the real work starts" David announced
"I thought we were called to rescue your friends" Piotr asked
"Yes, you were, however the current you only rely entire on your individual powers, the enemy you will be facing is something individual powers can't defeat alone" David replied
"I thought you all said the enemy was unknown," John Proudstar said.
Turning to him, David was slightly surprised that the man could actually speak, he had been quiet for a while now so David had ignored him as well. Though in truth, his powers made all this an act, he knew their thoughts and what they would think in the next few seconds to hours.
"Oh it seems I have yet to introduce myself, My name is David Stone and I am essentially mini-God, I am omniscient and nigh-omnipotent" David replied
However as he spoke, he warped the surroundings around them and the group themselves. It was the most effective way to make them understand what he meant by calling himself a mini-god. Well given the nature of this universe, he might as well be one of the true Gods.
"David!" Charles shouted
"I'm just demonstrating," David replied as he stopped transforming them all back into humans from the looney tunes characters he had turned them into. Turns out everything does get better in Chibi version,
"Wh… what?" Sunfire called out, unable to string together a sentence.
"I want you all to understand it, I am the one exception to everything you think can happen or go wrong, do not question my power, nor dare plot behind my back, I swear I'll leave you as a water Lilly in the sahara" David replied.
Even as he spoke it was as though thunder and lightning struck as the sky rumbled even on a clear and sunny day. It wasn't his intent to show off but it was necessary because unlike the Original X-Men. He would be directly in-charge of this group and their training.
The golden bastard would blow his top off if he learnt of his current decision but it was one that he would go through no matter what. His nature couldn't allow him to standby and watch these ones rush into danger without proper preparation.
"Why are you doing this?" Polaris asked finally speaking
"Mr. David here has decided to be in-charge of your training from hence forth, he will be taking care of most things concerning you all so I don't advise getting on his bad side" Charles said.
