Never Clear Skies

Eight hundred years ago a great comet shot through the solar system, bestowing magic to everything it passed. It also put a hole in the sun. Humans lost their position at the top of the food chain, barely managing to survive. Even then, most couldn't be called Human anymore. Surrounded by corporations, shadowy organizations, the church, powerful individuals, and countless eyes in a city barely holding itself together; Callum is going to school. I wonder how that will go.
