A fierce dragon's roar echoed, mixed with soul screams and the rumbles of the crumbling world. Whether fleeing or hiding, Azure Dragon's fate was destruction; with Lin Moyu's fire taking the initiative, the end had long been fated.
The roars faded, the soul reached its end, and as the world's collapse slowed, Azure Dragon's vast body turned to smoke and vanished.
Lin Moyu hovered in the air, purple light coiling around him he'd just been reborn once more.
His expression was like still water: "You should have perished ages ago. All your scheming led to this anyway."
To him, surviving as a remnant soul in the core for eons was not living, but a fate worse than death.
With his soul now gone, the body, once infused with the world's strength, fell apart with it.
Originally, the world was only half collapsed; now most of it was gone, and full destruction was near.

Lin Moyu watched as the core gradually melted and shrank, until two objects inside were revealed.
He reached out and drew them both into his hand.
One was a green jade, the size of a fingertip, and the other, a leaf.
Without checking them immediately, Lin Moyu stored them away.
At that moment, the world again started to shake without control without the strange treasure, collapse accelerated. He was seeing the world's final moments.
With the end coming, the tunnels once connected to other worlds became visible.
Most were shattered, but one, the original way he'd entered, remained whole.
Lin Moyu stepped into the array, gripped the Calamity Staff, and covered the formation with his power. "Go!"
He packed up the array and, at the last instant, escaped through the spatial tunnel.
In the passage, he could feel the world dissolving some terrifying force quickly erased every trace of what had existed. The world turned into a forbidden death zone, guaranteed to kill any who entered.
Even the tunnel started to collapse, but he moved even faster and outpaced destruction.
Without stopping, he sped along the passageway, until at last the familiar aura swept over him, and they returned to the Chaotic Wilderness.
The instant they entered, Sovereign September's soul avatar transformed into a stream of light and merged back with her body.
A Sovereign's presence rose up; after tens of thousands of years, she was finally back.
Moments later, she opened her eyes, twin stars glinting, and looked around.
The undead army was gone retracted by Lin Moyu. The only ones present were him and the delighted Sovereign Sun.
"Big brother, I'm back!"
