Chapter 325 - A Rare Mutation

About a few hours after the incident at the Grandmaster Tree, the Great Armor could be seen slowly driving away from Noosa City, Kevin's face bound right towards the window. "Kevin," Gerald said, standing right beside him. "Do you have a girlfriend?"

Upon the mention of Kevin and girlfriend in the same sentence, everyone slowly turned their heads to look at both him and Gerald, followed by teasing "oohs" that caused him to blush. "It was just… some stupid woman who tried to get me to train her!" he said, pushing Gerald away while trying his best to hold in his laugh.

"We're going to need to switch up our plan if we want to catch Pyron," Forrest said to everyone. "Our next location is a place named the White Garden." Kaelan's face lit up as he leaned right over Forrest's shoulder. "The biggest garden in all of Nahata!?" he exclaimed. "Why the hell do you think Pyron would choose to be somewhere so peaceful?"

"Tonight, there will be multiple fire-type entities on their way to attack White Garden. In that time interval, I want all of us to defend the sacred land and make sure nothing happens to its people or its historical landmarks. This is going to be the closest we get to Pyron for a while…"

Kevin delightfully leaped out of his seat. "We finally get to fight instead of waiting!" he chanted, which was shot down by Gerald less than a second later. "You really think this is a game, don't you?" he grumbled angrily, pushing him back into his seat. There were now about 2 hours from the Siege Of The Entities - would Team Pyron manage to defend the people of White Garden, or would they go up in flames before they could even make their first encounter with the mythical pristine entity they're searching for?

---

A elderly man sat in a rocking chair on his porch that slowly creaked up and down, repeatedly strumming multiple strings on his banjo that was being held together by tape. "Have you heard anything about the storm yet?" he asked in a rather western voice, catching a woman's attention from inside the house. She quickly rushed outside, glancing at the everlasting grasslands that had become an everyday view for them. "Luckily, the pristine entity ain't coming close to the garden - but we still have about two hundred of em' comin' at full speed!"

The old man pulled out a bottle of whiskey from his pocket, popping off the cap and watching as it slowly blew away with the wind. "I'll be damned," he joked, catching the woman's attention yet again. "If it weren't for my past encounter with that damn entity, we would've already been dead!" He rolled up his right sleeve, revealing a large yet deep cut that ran down to his bones. "You really do have to sacrifice something if you want to go up against Pyron," he thought to himself, closing his eyes to take in the peaceful aesthetic of the quiet grassfields once again. "If I cross paths with you again, I'll sacrifice my life to save this garden," he repeated to himself as he slowly dozed off into subconsciousness.

Suddenly, an entity went flying straight across the grassfields, creating a wind current that almost blew the woman and the man (who was now sleeping) off the porch in an instant. "What the golly!?" exclaimed the man, who pulled a pocket knife right out of the opposite side of his pants. He stood up from the chair and slowly walked across the moist dirt of the grassfields to check for any entities. "Who the hell do you think you are?" he interrogated. "You have no business with me, it's been 40 years since I retired!" He turned the knife right towards the sky, which was now colored an unusual shade of red. He turned straight towards his wife, who was also glancing at the sky in awe as well. "Is this what I think it is!?" she exclaimed, dashing into the grassfields and intensely tugging her husband back onto the porch to lead him into the house. "You're going to be burnt alive if you stay out here, Rick!" she screamed.

What both of them were looking at was a rare weather phenomenon named a fire storm. If more than 1 trillion ounces of firepower from fire-type entities had been spotted within a 100 mile radius, the area would fall under a fire storm where places like forests and villages (which were common to find in White Garden) would burst into flames. The last time a reported fire storm had broken out was about 72 years ago in a faraway land named Ikalai.

Rick dropped his straw hat on the ground in shock and dropped his jaw, resisting the constant pulls by his wife. "I haven't seen something like this in years…" he said to himself, still ignoring his wife's pleas to take shelter inside the house.

Volume 13, Chapter 6 - A Rare Mutation

The Great Armor appeared straight out of the red clouds, and Kevin was revealed on the hood of the car alongside Xavier, whose hands lit up with Mythium as they both glanced at a large fire tornado that was making its way towards one of the many villages in White Garden. "Even if it's extremely dangerous, it is a very beautiful sight," Kevin observed to Xavier, his thoughts interrupted by Forrest, who was currently driving the Great Armor. "Kevin, Xavier, it's time!" he exclaimed, lifting one of his hands from the steering wheel and pointing straight at the whirlwind of fire, which revealed a giant entity surrounded by multiple flames.

Back on the grassfield, Rick spectated the arrival of Team Pyron in even more awe than before, and his wife was now emotionally contained as they both glanced straight at the entity. "The next generation… they have arrived at the scene!" Rick celebrated, watching as Kevin flew straight off of the Great Armor towards the supernatural being alongside Xavier.

A ferocious roar came streaming through the mouth of the entity, creating phenomenal wind currents that blew through the forest at extremely high speeds. After closing its mouth for a few seconds, it spat a massive ball of lava straight at Kevin and Xavier, slowly fading into fire after a few seconds. "What the hell is that!?" Xavier exclaimed, guiding Kevin's eyes towards the ball made of magma. "A lava-type entity! It's a rare mutation of fire-types, and it only happens when an entity wields too much firepower that the fire it produces changes right into magma!"

Kevin jerked his fist back, punching the entity right in its face before it had unleashed any more damage upon the forest. Xavier glanced at the part of the forest where the magma had made contact with, noticing that the fire was rapidly spreading. "Gravitational Punch!" Kevin cried, using his strength to create distance between White Garden and the mutated entity.

Xavier landed on the ground right beside Kevin, glancing at his body to make sure he was okay to keep fighting. He noticed his right hand, which had been severely burnt due to the attack from about a minute ago. "Kevin! If you get burnt that badly, I advise you to stop fighting!" He completely ignored Xavier's suggestion, lifting his body off the ground and pushing straight off the ground with both of his legs. "Whatever doesn't kill you… makes you STRONGER!" he exclaimed, watching as magma spewed right out of the entity's mouth once again.
